Despite hotel not appearing to be busy at all, had to wait 2 hours for room to be ready (I appreciate we arrived before the 2pm check in time). Decor beginning to look tired and in need of some paint (scuff marks on walls etc); bathroom clean but dated & dark. Had to ask about parking - this was not information that was offered at check in. No information given re where or how to get breakfast, so each day we went to a café round the corner (we were later told by friends that there was a special offer on that weekend for in house breakfast!!).

We enjoyed our time once again. However there were two points that we think need attention. One we found that our bed needed a doona. The one light blanket is not enough for winter. Secondly we were disappointed that the bar was not opened. I know it's the off season but maybe it could have been staffed for a couple of hours. No more negatives because I've stayed in six Accor hotels since Oct and Seasons restaurant's breakfast is one of the best. Well done chefs.

Apartment was clean though a little small. Ok for overnight stay. Grounds were lovely. Reception staff wasn’t great. He hadn’t activated our key cards so we were stuck at the point where you tap card for access into underground parking. Had to do difficult reverse back up.

Unclean kitchen utensils and inadequate appliances. Plumbing issues.

When I arrived, he asked how I was and I said I was feeling unwell and he replied “so you’ve come here to give it to all of us” .. this shameful and insensitive comment was horrible to receive. It elicited shame for me in booking a room to rest and heal… I thought that’s what hotels were for? A safe place for all who need rest and recover if they are travelling and need a room.. This behaviour was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. You shouldn’t be in a customer facing role if you are going to be so unaware and insensitive.
