Staff at reception were great. Breakfast was satisfactory. Location of the hotel was the best, with Coles right across the road and within walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants and the wharf area. The only minus was the noise from a nearby nightclub at night.

I enjoyed my stay, staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean.

Nice place, good location. Downside First night no sleep with the rooftop bar up the road, could hear every word of the songs up till 1.00. Had to spend $20 on good ear plugs for the next night, so wasn’t as loud. Not sure if I would stay again as my sleep is important!! 1 quiet night out of 2

Extremely happy with my two night stay at Mantra on Murray. From check-in to check-out I could not fault the service & facilities offered by this hotel. The staff were the some of the most pleasant & professional I have encountered & I travel extensively around the world. The tall dark haired young man in reception, the room service staff & the staff in general were lovely. The location of the hotel in Murray St could not be better. Out the door & into the shops which is great for anyone who wants to do a bit of shopping. There is a taxi rank & bus stop just outside the door of the hotel. The room in the hotel was very comfortable & contained facilities I didn't expect. Crockery, cutlery, microwave, hotplate and sink means that you can even cook a meal. Mantra on Murray represents excellent value for money.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Maria on reception was particularly helpful. Mantra is in an excellent location, however steps at front make it difficult to get luggage up and down. Was disappointed that room was not serviced more regularly as rubbish bin became very full. Reported light in bathroom four times and although it was seen to each time, it only took a day or two for it to fail again.

We stayed only for 1 night as we were meeting friends. Check in great, lovely guy on reception, in fact all the staff friendly and helpful. The apartments were excellent, clean and big, so central too. We had a super deal, breakfast included, well worth it. When we stay in Perth again we will definitely be staying there, well recommended. Have told family and friends about it.

Pleasant stay,air -con a bit loud turned it off then woke up later to hot so had to put up with noise

Pros: Location Rather clean Room spacious Cons: Sofa bed very uncomfortable Rather dim in the living and kitchenette area with only one ceiling warm light and one standing light. Housekeeping standard sub par. There's a used coffee capsule in the coffee machine. Capsules not replenished daily One announcement made at around 1am plus to evacuate the building with no explanation. We were unsure of the urgency for evacuation.

This hotel feels like it needs an update the bathroom is dated and the air conditioning was loud and smelt which was a shame as the location is amazing.

Problems with air conditioning. The only evening we dined in the restaurant we waited an hour for our meal. Problems with access cards to our room. Took several requests to get clean towels. Toasters not big enough to cater for the amount of guests at breakfast. GF options needed at breakfast. Staff at reception were very helpful.

Bathroom was in an appalling condition

I write in regard the appalling state of the room I was given, 201 in particular the bathroom. The bathroom is in need of urgent maintenance and frankly to offer it as part of a 4 star hotel with the premium I paid is a disgrace. I have taken pictures of the bathroom which included a toilet seat that was "repaired" with tape and other maintenance issues with the shower area. If you are interested in seeing the pictures I have taken email me and I will attempt to send them to you. Alternately you can send your manager up to room 201 and he/she can see for themselves. In any event, this was without question not a 4 star standard hotel at all.
