FNQ getaway and think we had picked well. Comfortable stay, great location and laundry appliances easy to use. Pool was cold this time of year and was expected but it is also in shade most of the day. Will be refreshing in hotter months.

We had 5 rooms for 10 days at Mantra Esplanade Cairns. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was our reason for choosing the hotel. It is an easy walk to cafes and restaurants, museums, the waterfront, galleries and Woolies. The only thing that would it better was an onsite breakfast.

Good location when staying in Cairns. It's an older property but appears well maintained. Room, bathroom & balcony was very clean. With the entry from the hallway giving access to two rooms there was some sound leakage but nothing extreme. There was also some water hammer when first using the shower. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Awesome location! Esplanade rooms remarkably quiet considering location and comfortable. Some a little outdated (especially the bathrooms) but others very modern. I guess the updating is an ongoing process with a hotel of its size.

We chose The Mantra Esplanade for location. Disappointed that the Lagoon was closed for maintenance but still a great location for everything you want to explore on the Esplanade & surrounds. Sadly, the room was pretty dated, not enough accessible power outlets to charge devices, we moved the TV unit out slightly from the wall to plug in the kettle & our power plug. For me, the bed was very firm, with hip issues, this was a killer. Any room above noise was very loud in our room. However it is in prime location & we had a great view from our room to the Esplanade. The staff were very friendly.

Easy check-in, helpful staff, clean rooms, showers are not tall person friendly though. Nice that we had a clean midway through our stay despite only staying 6 days, including a refresh of towels and amenities like laundry powder and dish washing liquid

Such great staff!! Every single one of the staff members that we interacted with, starting from Jennifer about the booking to all the front desk (Vanessa, Lisa, and I forget the names of the other superstars) and housekeeping staff, was so friendly, helpful and just brightened our day, day after day. It was a pleasure to stay here.
