Good experience great location

The apartment was cosy and had everything that we required. I wish that I knew that it was part of the Accor group as I am a gold member and would have liked my points, sadly, when I booked it wasn't on the Accor website and I booked through wotif.com. A few more kitchen utensils would have been useful and the plug for the kitchen sink was too small - a little more attention to detail wouldnt have gone astray but the bedding was good and the overall facilities were good.

I was told that our booking was of a kind that meant we would have no daily cleaning service in our room. I’d booked personally, by phone and no mention at all was made of that fact. Disappointment number 1. Our room was number 113. Directly above the bar in Drivers Lane. The noise from the bar (live music) got worse over the week that we stayed. For the last three nights we could not sleep until 1am when the music stopped. That was disappointment number 2. Overall, I regretted our decision to stay at Mantra Little Bourke Street.

Excellent except for the rubbish pillows

The staff were super helpful, polite and exactly what I’d hoped, the rooms were comfortable and I appreciated being able to open windows for fresh air. Everything excepting the pillows was excellent quality and comfort wise. The pillows ere flat, lumpy and absolutely impossible to get comfortable with.

Underwhelming and over priced

Check in was fine. No food, room I booked was a loft room. Air conditioner struggled, stairs to bed were precarious. Fittings old and tired. Furniture drab. Welcome drink in another hotel 10minutes walk away. Wouldnt stay again

Location was excellent, right in the middle of everything; the unit was very good as it gave us a kitchen as well as a lounge area. The only slight irritation was the noise early one morning and another night from peoples voices rising up the well shaft and into our room. We had to shout down to ask them to be quiet.

The hotel locates in the perfect location. Near shopping mall and easy to find places to eat. However, I stayed 3 nights and there is no housekeeping. My trash never empty. And windows are useless because you did not see anything except the next building wall. The room is clean when I checked in

I can confirm that your room was booked on a Stay & Save Unserviced Package which does not include a Housekeeping service during the stay, I sincerely apologise if this was communicated at the time of check in, I will most definitely follow up this up with our front office team. In regards to location we are perfectly situated in the heart of the CBD but unfortuantely this also comes with limitations in regards to the view as we only have a handful of rooms that have views. Quite a nice big room. Note there is no air con in the bedroom. This could be unpleasant in summer. Shower pressure was poor and difficult to get temprature right.

The facilities themselves were fine, though in need of an upgrade (e.g. laminate and paint peeling in the bathroom). What was disappointing was how noisy it was. For a central city hotel, I would have thought there would be double glazing on the windows but it didn't seem to be the case. I could clearly hear someone being arrested outside my room, people enjoying the restaurants and bars, the dump track picking up garbage around 2am both mornings, and then construction work from 6am. I hardly got any sleep the two nights I was there.

Great location but disappointing maintenance and cleaning

We enjoyed our stay and the location of the apartment. The apartment was fine for our requirements. We raised after the first night (we stayed 4) that the bathroom fan didnt work, nor did the shower/bath tap so had water flowing from both nozzles and there was plaster dust all over the bathroom floor, which if you placed your clothes on the floor to shower they got covered in plaster dust. We told reception the first morning and nothing was done, no apology no nothing. I can understand perhaps the fan and taps but not to go in and wipe the floor was pretty poor. The hotel was a bit tired could do with a paint and obviously maintenance is not a priority as a lightbulb outside our room flashed the whole time of our stay (it needed replacing) Would I stay there again probably not since there are lots of options in the city. Disappointing to see on trip adviser a similar comment a month prior, and I suspect we had the same room, yet the manager said it had all been fixed, and those customers got all sorts of special deals after complaining.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. The parking at another site is inconvenient. The steps and access to rooms with luggage is difficult up and down stairs. The rooms were good, clean and spacious.

Room I was given looked into a dirty light shaft. No desk to work at. Depressing. Very nice receptionist Olivia found me another room on the outside of the building with lots of natural light. Still no desk to work at so not suitable for business travel. Also very noisy with external activities - woken up at 2am and never slept properly after.
