The customer service provided by the staff was amazing. Rhi working in the restaurant was amazingly welcoming and helpful and Trevor went out of his way to put right the issues we found in the room. But I feel the issues in the room were unnecessary. With no instructions it is not intuitive to press a red button then a right arrow to access subtitles on a TV. With no restaurant menu in the room. I followed the steps on the TV to find that although the headings were listed the menu items were not. When you are in the shower is not the best time to find out that the toiletry bottles are empty. Rhi and Trevor saved the day and made our stay enjoyable when it could so easily have been disastrous. Well done to both of them

Arrived around 8pm for work the following day. Reception nice, room lovely. Very quiet all night on 14th floor. Great view too. Was woken at 2.30 am by the flashing green and red lights from the smoke detector. Didn't get back to sleep till 5.30 am. Really disappointed. Breakfast was a bit strange. No cups so eventually some paper ones appeared. Sauces were in bowls in the chiller and I had to ask about them by which time my breakfast was getting cold. Tongs for the mushrooms which was odd too. Only fried eggs, no scrambled on the buffet. Again, a bit odd. Overall stay was good but interrupted sleep was a nightmare

Overall experience was ok, the room was adequate for my needs and having a restaurant onsite meant not having to go out for food. The room was a reasonable size and the facilities were ok. The restaurant team was excellent and a special mention to Rhiannon,Eira,Poppy and Lou. The restaurant itself was great it was clean and tidy and service overall was excellent.

The fact that nobody informed meat the time of the booking that no parking was available is bad enough but the staff at the reception(when anyone was there) were not apologetic or very friendly. The seating at the entrance to the building is disgusting and all 4 chairs are full of stains and dirty, there are holes in the roof where lights were and the lifts were full of mud and dirt

Regarding the parking, we are sorry for any misunderstanding. We do clearly state on our website and booking platforms that parking is not available at the hotel. We appreciate, however, that this may not have been clear enough at the time of your booking, and we will review how this information is presented to ensure it is as visible as possible. We are also sorry to hear your comments regarding the condition of the entrance seating, ceiling, and lifts, as well as your experience with our reception team. We have recently had to deal with flooding at the property, which has unfortunately affected some areas of the hotel and contributed to the condition you experienced. We would like to reassure you that we are currently working on a refurbishment programme, which includes improvements to the lobby area, ceiling and seating. We are also addressing the cleanliness and presentation of the lifts and other affected areas as part of our ongoing maintenance programme. We are particularly disappointed to hear that you did not find our reception team as friendly or apologetic as they should have been. This is not the level of service we expect from our team, and your comments will be shared with the relevant departments. We genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify the areas where improvements are needed. Had real trouble finding how to get to the hotel, a few signs in the carpark would be very helpful. Or website could at least say which end of the carpark to use and how to get from there to the hotel
