È già la seconda volta che soggiorno in questa struttura. Hotel molto bello, camera non grandissima, ma completa di tutto e con prodotti di qualità, dalla linea cortesia al minibar. Personale gentile e professionale. Anche se nel primo soggiorno le cameriere hanno saltato la pulizia della mia camera, provvedendo solo dopo mia richiesta. Colazione ottima, con vasta scelta di prodotti di fascia medio/alta unici nei, caffè pessimo e lentezza nella preparazione (ho atteso più di 30 minuti per un omelette e 15 minuti per un espresso) Posizione perfetta Ristorante da provare Consiglio questo hotel, ci tornerò sicuramente.

In un breve soggiorno in Russia sono, naturalmente, stato anche a San Pietroburgo. Una città incantevole, ricca di storia, di arte e di suggestione. Mi era capitato di soggiornare in altri Sofitel e dunque ho prenotato con piacere anche qui per due notti. Posizione dell’albergo ideale ! Il meglio della città a portata di mano. Però qui non tutto è stato impeccabile. Come d’abitudine. Devo dire un esordio molto buono, quando una gentile giovane Signora addetta alla reception ha offerto la possibilità di avere a disposizione la camera di prima mattina senza attendere il primo pomeriggio. Come d’uso. Infatti, l’arrivo con treno notturno da Mosca avviene poco prima delle 9. Mi fa molto piacere citare questo fatto. Come mi fa piacere aggiungere che la stessa giovane Signora era in servizio al check out. Allo stesso modo cortese e gentile. Nonché professionale. Ma vi sono stati accadimenti non, allo stesso modo, gradevoli. Camera discreta anche se piccola e male illuminata. Porta della doccia rotta e cassaforte non funzionante. Su richiesta sopraggiungono un paio di tecnici che riescono a riparare entrambe in un po’ di tempo. Per normale richiesta, prenotazione ristorante, nel primo pomeriggio mi reco presso la postazione del concierge : assente. Scopro, poi, molto spesso assente. Ma le sorprese meno piacevoli sono legate al servizio mattutino di pulizia e sistemazione della camera. Certamente accompagnato da un tornado che butta all’aria indumenti ed oggetti. A suo gusto personale. Senza peraltro sostituire asciugamani usati. Insomma non un buon servizio. La colazione poi ... inclusa nel costo corrisposto ma quando la si completa viene fatto sottoscrivere un foglio a comprova di averla fatta ! Ancorché la qualità dell’offerta sia molto buona anche accompagnata da una bottiglia di champagne Roederer a disposizione degli ospiti. Cauzione iniziale per gli extra da garantire all’arrivo : eccessiva. Insomma guastano il quadro complessivo stravaganze ed una fastidiosa diffidenza verso i clienti. Nonché un servizio a tratti vacillante. Stiamo, infatti, commentando un cinque stelle.

I am glad that you that you decided to try a brand new SO/ hotel in and appreciated our esteemed location, right in the heart of St. Petersburg - just a stone throw away from some of the most incredible sights such as St. Isaacs Cathedral, Hermitage and Nevsky Prospect and our famous breakfast in Cococo restaurant with a great selection of dishes and Louis Roederer champagne. I am also pleased that you could appreciate the early check-in we’ve provided especially for you and I am thankful for a mention of our receptionist. I will be glad to share your warm comments with her. At the same time, I am sad that the room size was not up to your expectations. Next time I would like to kindly recommend you to book another room category of a larger room size. Equally, it is sad to hear you didn’t find the room lit enough despite an exclusive adjustable lighting system with a luxurious Terzani lamp by the bedside as well as designer Artemis working desk lamp and many other features. I am also very sorry about other small issues you’ve experienced that didn’t make up to your expectations. Our engineering department was happy to fix everything related to your sink and the safety deposit box as soon as they could in regards to extensive workload. As for the quality of our cleaning service, rest assured that our Neat & Tidy team throughly follows a 5-star hotel brand standards and it’s their prime responsibility to make sure all of the guest’s belongings are carefully arranged and everything’s is in it’s place. I will organise an additional training to make sure there’s a consistency. Regarding the questions about concierge, I do assure you that outside the concierge working time there’s always someone at the reception, including Guest Guru, who’s ready to give you any needed recommendations - all you have to do is to address us for advice. Finally, as for your remark regarding the need to sign additional bill in our partner restaurant Cococo, this is due to the fact that the restaurant is a third-party organisation and they have a different accounting system. Nevertheless, I am very glad that you have overall appreciated your stay and it is thanks to your valuable comments that we could further improve our service to make sure we sweep you off your feet next time you visit us, which I hope will happen soon.
