Had a really great two-night stay here. I booked pretty last minute and was initially told it might take around an hour to get the room ready. But when I arrived to check in, the front desk told me it was almost ready — and it was. No upgrade this time, but they turned the room around very quickly, and it was spotless when I got in. Everything else was just as smooth. Housekeeping the next day was quick and efficient, and the whole stay felt very easy and well organised. I also ordered in-room dining and asked for it to be delivered within a specific time slot. It arrived exactly when requested, which I really appreciated. Overall, a very comfortable and seamless stay. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, with zero fuss. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Melbourne. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, this stay fell well below the standard I would expect from Hotel Chadstone and the Accor brand. Parking costs have doubled, which already adds significantly to the overall cost of a stay. As an Accor Gold member, I also received no acknowledgement or upgrade on arrival. I had to question the staff and specifically asked about my Gold benefits, I was initially told the hotel was full, despite having to explain my membership status before any consideration was given. More concerning was the condition of the pool area. I cut my foot on broken tiles, with pieces of tile present both in the water and across the pool floor. Staff advised they had not previously noticed the damage. After I reported it, someone was sent to place tape over the cracked area, but there was no meaningful follow-up with me. No incident report was completed, nobody contacted me afterwards to check on my injury and no compensation or gesture of goodwill was offered. Given this was a genuine safety issue that resulted in an injury, I found the response extremely disappointing. I’ve since seen a doctor for assistance. For a hotel positioned at this level, I expected significantly better attention to guest safety, service and recognition of Accor loyalty status.

I am a returning customer and have stayed at Hotel Chadstone many times, which is why I was particularly disappointed by my experience on 28 September. After checking out, I briefly left my car at the front of the hotel for approximately 10 minutes while I went to get a coffee for our long drive back to Sydney. I then received a phone call asking me to move my vehicle. I apologised and explained that I would be back within approximately five minutes, however, the person continued to speak to me in a very demanding and unpleasant tone and insisted that the vehicle be removed. I completely understand that the hotel needs to keep the front entrance clear and that vehicles cannot be left there for extended periods. However, given that I was a returning guest, had only stepped away briefly after checking out, and had already apologised and explained the situation, I was disappointed by the way the matter was handled. The tone of the conversation made me feel that my circumstances and history as a regular guest were not taken into consideration. I was also disappointed because on one of my previous stays I did not have parking available for my vehicle, yet I still paid the parking fee for that day. I have always been happy to stay at Hotel Chadstone and have continued to return because of my previous experiences. I am due to book another stay for 30 October, but unfortunately this experience has made me question whether I want to return. I would hope that feedback from a regular customer would be taken seriously, as I would expect a more respectful and welcoming approach, particularly from a hotel where I have stayed so many times. I am not raising this issue because I was asked to move my car; I understand that request. My concern is the manner in which I was spoken to. I hope this can be addressed, as I would genuinely like to continue staying at Hotel Chadstone and would like to feel valued as a returning guest.

Pleasant experience, very comfortable room with lovely bathroom amenities. Disappointed in having to pay $45 for one night carparking fee. This cost should be absorbed into the overall booking costs. There is no other option but to park within the hotel carpark so you are compelled to pay the fee. As a paying guest and shopping within the centre precinct, perhaps a ticket validation system whereby on presenting shopping dockets a discount can be awarded towards the parking - this would entice guests to perhaps stay longer and spend more in the centre.

Signed up for rewards to get the discount, but it didn't apply when I booked. I asked them to apply the discount at check-in, and they said they did, but the price was still the same. Then I asked the next day, and they said that because it was after the fact, they couldn't do anything about it. The room was nice, but it smelt way too strongly of musk. It was very overpowering.

Overall it was a lovely stay. I had to move rooms as the mattress in my first room was so terrible I had an awful sleep. I also found the gf breakfast offering disappointing, and the lack of help when asked for my missing robe (it took 3+ hours and multiple calls to get it) a little frustrating. The rooms are lovely though, and clean, and location excellent for spending time at chadstone.

Arrived at 2pm (knowing check-in wasn't until 3pm) and when I left my bags was told I could check-in immediately (which was a pleasant surprise) however had another appointment to attend to first. Came back to the hotel at 6pm and then was told my room wasn't ready yet! Was told it just needed to be inspected after cleaning however then overheard the receptionist on her mobile speaking with someone and she said the room hadn't been cleaned yet. When only staying one night, and hotels having strict check-in and check-out times, you would expect when paying >$600 per night that the room would be ready at 6pm!!

Loved our short stay at this very comfortable hotel. Excellent for overnight staycation with friends. The delicious breakfast and being able to walk out to this exclusive shopping centre was an important part of the whole experience. The connecting king delux and queen rooms were spacious and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Good service at reception, Ruby has been very warm and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. But the dine-in options were too limited, I had to order my dinner on uber eats.

Very disappointed with our stay. Check-in was delayed by an hour, and the bathroom and toilet were unclean. The room setup was incomplete, forcing us to leave personal items on the floor due to a lack of bedside tables on both sides. Elevator wait times reached 20 minutes, and our keycards had access to service floors, raising serious security concerns. Our stay was extremely sub-par compared to other All Accor places we have stayed.
