The hotel room was recently renovated and with a great view of the beach, the room was clean, beds were comfortable. The only issue was the water pressure on the shower that was really low. Some other renovations are underway but it didn't got in the way of our stay. The staff was helpful and went above and beyond on our requests.

The elevator doesn’t work properly all week! I was at 16 floor. I ordered room service at 1am and I wait 50 min for a soup and sandwich. At the check out they charge me way more than I spend. So I’m still waiting for my refund. Never going back.

Arrived at the hotel around 7pm and check-in process was extremely slow. I was under the impression that our room wasn’t ready. I was told there was no room for 4 persons even though I made the reservation for 3 adults and 1 child. I was also told that the child stay was free of charge so there was no bed for him! He should sleep together with the parents, same bed. How come?!? Check-out process was a mess, long line and few attendants to help. They couldn’t organize different lines for people arriving at the hotel and people leaving the hotel which caused big confusion between guests in line.

Old, Fake pictures, but getting renewed

I booked this Hotel thinking that it would have been the one in the pictures that I saw, sadly it was not. My biggest disappointment was that for the price that I paid, the services and interior of the room and other common areas (corridor, restaurant etc etc) were very old. I even wen to the "Gym" trying to exercise but there was literally not enough equipment to do anything related to weightlifting: it was a way smaller room with just a treadmill and 1 multi-purpose machine. Compared to what I have seen in the picture, that is a huge disappointment. Said that, it is getting renewed, therefore I hope that the interior, the rooms, the gym and everything else will get better, newer and well done. Hopefully they will remove the mould on the bathrooms, re-screw the handles of the doors and improve the AC system

The staff is great. The hotel is well located. The rooms are dated. The restrooms are unacceptable. The gym is a joke.

Awful experience. Room with several issues and terrible cleaning.

Very old hotel and never clean I was asking 2 days to remove hair from my bathroom No success. Also I left my luggage at security for a few hours. I got it back broken. I have a witness. Also you can check cameras. I insist compensation

The hotel room was filthy and the bathroom had paint cracking out, water drop sound and I could hear isle noices.

Nice experience, staff is really welcoming and courteous. Breakfast offering could be more complete and air conditioning did not work great and was really noisy.

They seem to have rebuilted the ros but forgot the elevators and hall. But really nice hoteL, if that does not bother you i totally recommended Ps breakfast its not up to the task

The room needs a lot of maintenance, it seems like it does not get it for many years. There was a small leakeage from the AC, the wardrobe is misaligned and seems to be falling, the walls have small indications of moisture. There were not enouth pictures in the website during reservation to make sure which room I was getting, I though it would be better than this one. There was a strong smell of cooking and oil coming from the window, probably from the kitchen. The breakfast and restaurant were good though.

The hotel is under refurbishment, but most of the rooms are already renewed with a very nice set up and decoration. The amenities are all Loccitane Au Bresil. The only thing is that the elevators take too long and the quality of the food in the breakfast could be better.

Execellent staffs and localization, but very old installations.

I stayed 3 days with my family. The staffs are cordials and the localization is perfect. They have a nice basic breakfast. The installations are too old or maybe it is due my high expectations when talking about a Gran Mercure international standard.

Nice location in Recife with view on the beach. Helpful staff at the reception. Bikes to barrow if you're an Accor member. Rooms are large but run down and not sound proof. Furniture is quite minimalist. Breakfast is good.
