Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru

We stayed în the Ocean View Pool Villa which is slightly behind the main beach villas ( so if you are not keen to face the ocean directly then is worth the financial compromise) The Villa had a private garden with a Pool and small jacuzzi which was very convenient specially when you have a baby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and food was having a good variety of options (recommend the bbq ) Beach is clean and the Hotel is very environmental friendly (no plastic bottles and no debris in the water, well done for that) The island is approx 20 minutes from Male ( so you can see the town from far distance) The only think which didn't make the perfect image was probably the renovation going on on some villas , otherwise nothing to complain

Banyan tree was our choice for our honeymoon. It was definitely the right choice. The island is a small secluded paradise. You can walk the whole island in 10 minutes, but it has everything you need, from games, small gym, yoga, and in my opinion the highlight is the reef! no other reef from my other visits compares, it is well maintained and in our 3 night visit, we saw white tip, black tips, lobsters, giant puffer fishes and my highlight was a marble ray. The reef is huge and i spent two hours just to swim two of the entry/exit points! They do have scuba options and lots of water activates to use. The rooms are excellent with outdoor showers and private pool and hot tub. The prices for drinks and food are very reasonable especially if you have Accor privilege card. They also have a sister island if you want a change in scenery or food, and they have regular boat shuttles between. Also if you can visit the pier after dinner the view is breathtaking you have to see to understand. I am definitely going to be visiting the property again for our anniversary. Thank you to the whole team for such an amazing experience, it was too short and can't wait to return.

Everything was Perfect. Chris was a wonderful Dive Instructor ( she Never gave up ) Henry was a Perfect snorkeling Guide ( Even by Night 😊) The whole Staff, specially Adam, was the best waiter and Khaleel was a Perfect room Maid. We felt Welcome from the First Moment . Thank you very much for wonderful days at Banyan tree. We will come back again

A magical experience from the start. Everyone at the resort has been incredible and the photos of the villas do not do them justice, neither do they do justice of the white sandy beaches (which we noticed get tidied up every morning). The spa is a must for every guest as the pampering and the Banyan Special Treatments are out of this world. Activities such as night snorkelling are once in a life time and this is one of the best places to do them. Special thanks go to Rohan and Hossem from reservations and reception, Lynn, Nafiz and Buddy at the restaurant, Okta and Catherine at the spa and Hood at the marine center.

A real paradise! Everything was perfect, from the astonishing beach and waters with an amazing marine life to the villa and the staff. Nice selection of activities, good choice of food and fantastic spa services. Definitely recommend!
