Booked an accessible room for my mum who has a walker, not provided with one - had to store her walker in the bathroom was hard to get around. No bar to help her on/off the toilet so I had to. Told I would have to wait 1.5hrs if I wanted room service, rooms cold, very noisy and food in breakfast buffet was cold on second day. They ‘made up’ our room by making beds and removing rubbish in bins but when pulled covers back bed was completely unmade.

The room was great, location great but we felt so bad for the guy behind reception. It was early evening when we checked in & you know it will be busy and only one person behind the reception counter. He was so polite considering he had atleast two rude & extremely unhappy customers infront of him alongside another 3 groups of people waiting to check in. We really felt for the guy & he physically couldn’t go any quicker. He handled the situation so well but it’s a must to have 2 staff on reception. It’s a busy hotel in the cbd.
