Stayed one night . The room was nice, the bed comfy and it was clean. However, the shower fixing was broken and I had to hold the shower head when showering. The breakfast was good. The hotel looks shabby on the outside and there was a skip with a mattress next to it in the carpark.

Room good, but dinner hopeless

Restaurant was under staffed and the young barman was of no help and quite arrogant when asked to do anything by the waitress. Receptionist is a bit of a drama queen in my opinion and off putting

Easy to find; fantastic food at great prices. I didn't find the interior so nice - the bedroom hallways honestly gave me vertigo, and my bedroom (226) I couldn't close the window properly or turn the radiator on. The bathroom is very tired. BUT these are superficial and for the price of the hotel, its location and amazing food (and lovely service from everyone) I would look to stay here again.

A warm welcome. Comfortable beds, nice and quiet. We hadn't booked breakfast but were please to be offered it at a very reasonable price and very good it was too. Our daughter lives in Walsall so we've stayed in many hotels in the locality and this is the only one we'll stay at in future.

Checkin online was a ballache so I gave up. We checked in at the front desk. Room was as described and quite comfortable. We were glad that breakfast was available even on Christmas day. Good quality and variety too at a very reasonable price. Very pleasant staff, every single one we saw. We only noticed the council tip when leaving, the wind must have been in a different direction when we checked in. BUT, that was the only downside. We'll be back, our daughter and family live nearby.

Disrepair, unsuitable lighting and dirty

The first issue was being on the third floor, the lift only goes to floor 2 meaning we had to climb the stairs for the next floor with our bags. The key card system is temperamental at best and then we get to the room..... Carpets were filthy and stained the lighting was so inadequate that it made hair and makeup application impossible. 1 spot light that could hardly light a cupboard let alone a room. There was a lack of sockets for charging phones . In the bathroom the grout of the tiles was carrying mould and there were screw holes where they had changed from a shower curtain to a wrongly fitted shower screen.

Regular Accor user and this is a nice hotel. Privilege room was big and comfy. Only minor would be the bathroom, which needs a refurbishment IMO. Food is good and well priced.

Check in was easy and very efficient. Staff member was friendly, polite and very professional. Room was as expected, signs if age but that’s understandable for hotel that’s being used. Towels worn but not the worst I’ve been given at this hotel.. Loo roll was nasty, cheap and thinner than tracing paper .. If it was good people would steal it? Bit picky? Coffee machine was nice to have but 1 capsule? Plus it was hard to see how it worked.. Bed was beautifully presented and comfortable. It’s a great hotel with friendly staff.. Rooms are comfy with only minor things that need taking care of.. fixtures were loose in bathroom etc .. Will be back Thank you

We have stayed here many times and stayed overnight as we were visiting friends nearby. We couldn’t get into our room until 2pm but as we had a child with us they gave us the keys early. The rooms were lovely and clean with nice towels. The staff are always helpful and polite Breakfast was help yourself and there was plenty to eat. The tea/coffee system needs improving as the coffee was too strong and both were not hot as in flasks. Latte should be provided too. Overall it did what it said kings pack
