The room was comfortable, only down side was that the bathroom was a bit tatty and a piece was missing from the shower so it did not work, so we had to have a bath instead. The best bit was the wonderful receptionist. Soooo welcoming and helpful :-)

This the second time that we have stayed at Honiley the room was nice but no drinks in the mini fridge and it said free drinks on the door and it was crufts and a lot of dogs in the hotel plus in the room next to our room ad two dogs in it and the people had left them in the room and at 10pm until 11.30pm the dogs were barking and crying and with my health problems ie lung cancer we got to bed a bit earlier than norm about 10.30 pm as I’m knacked and out breath ant it makes me tiered but with the dogs going on I couldn’t get to sleep other than that it was a nice stay and the room 30 was nice it was just a shame the mini fridge had no free drinks in it yet it had a label saying free drinks but nothing in it and the dogs in the next room put a downer on it a little it was a bit better stay than the first time we came as the room was nowhere as nice as it was this time I know it’s a hotel that work men use and so one but we liked it both times bar the dogs crying and barking in the room and yes we would come again if we got a room like the one we had this time room 30 I think that’s about it and the decor in the hallway was a bit worse for ware and coming down the stairs the ceiling tiles was apart and dirty but that’s being picky we would still come and stay again as the staff are friendly when we signed in and everytime we went out they was polite and the same coming back in at the night time and the breakfast wasn’t as good as the last time as you had to ask for different items as they had ran out and no one came to look until you asked them to other than that there was nothing to complain about and I’m not complaining now it’s just to let you know what we thought and not to complain as we like it there and I think it’s good value for the money and the only other think was my wife had to remake the bed when we got there the first night as the quilt was in the cover and it only covered half of the bed my wife took the quilt out and put it back in as it should have been to fit the bed correctly as it was all on one side of the bed and the other side only had the quilt cover to sleep under but soon sorted out to how it should have been but it won’t stop us coming again soon and the view was nice over the fields with sliding French doors in the room it was a nice stay bar the few bits but I wouldn’t complain about anything as it was all petty except the dogs I like dogs we have an English bulldog e left at home with my son it was just them next door leaving the dogs on there own in a strange room and it was until 11.30 pm or just after my wife as just said but all in all a nice stay and nice staff at the front desk

The hotel was well located but very tired on the inside, very cold bar area. The rooms very basic, bed was uncomfortable. Dogs everywhere due to crufts, howling all night. Will avoid in the future

Our stay was great, it’s the second consecutive year that we’ve stayed in this hotel. The staff at the hotel are always smiley faced, day or night and are always more than happy to help. Everyone is very accepting of the dogs, they even have dog biscuits on the check in desk which is a nice touch. Although they can’t go into the restaurant for obvious reasons, there is more than enough room for them in the lounge area at breakfast or of an evening. The breakfast station is always well stocked of a morning. The rooms are well equipped for the needs of most, beds are comfy and wifi coverage is great.

Have stayed under previous ownership. Not satisfied that shower could not be used due to defective pull device which meant shower could not be used. Surprised that in a hotel that seemed to have lots of rooms I should be allocated one with non working shower but of course its difficult to change after undressing etc and in morning. This room should have been blocked as unuseable until repaired. Limited time facilities re evening meal meant that I had to forgo eating and was so dis satisfied I did not bother with breakfast (which at comparable room rates I had assumed was included in price at time of booking. Site did not make this clear. Overall NOT SATISFIED.

Pretty good on the whole. I'd like to give a special mention to Michael, one of your staff. When you're tired and running late, it makes a world of difference when someone is genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was in a bit of a rush as I had an event to attend with the Angling Trust in the conference room- and Michael made sure I ordered a meal that would arrive quickly and made sure I was sorted. A real credit to your team, I thought. As for the room, it was pretty good but I had one small quibble or two! The main one was that the shower door didn't stay shut- and I had to wedge it with a towel to stop water going on the floor. Minor, but worth looking into. Similarly, I wish every hotel would include an easy to reach power point right by the bed, because inevitably devices run low and it's handy to charge with an alarm on, so we don't wake up late.

A fantastic welcome from Matt when we arrived to check in. Our room was bright and clean with everything we needed. Comfy beds and great shower. A little chilly but it was freezing outside! We ate in the restaurant and our waiter (also Matt) again showed excellent customer service - a real credit to the hotel. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Check out was speedy and again staff were very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

A short stay so that I could visit Kenilworth and Warwick so perfectly positioned. Staff friendly and room immaculately clean. Odd things that could be improved - decent toilet paper for example! And some of the carpeting and paint work around the hotel needs a touch up. Furnishings though were oristine

The hotel is much improved from its condition and comfort under a previous owner. The room was especially spacious, with a very comfortable bed. We only took breakfast, but that was good, if a little too much to eat! It will be good when the buffet returns.

A nice hotel that seems to be in the process of being updated. Some aspects look a bit tired but others are much better. So for example the curtains in our room didn’t meet and the heater/air conditioning unit was noisy, but the overall decor was good and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was fine overall but the coffee was poor. All the staff were excellent - really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

I complained both at the property and again via email when I returned about the terrible standard of your hotel, your lack lustre security and the attitude of your staff. I was promised a follow up which has never come, so I can only assume you really don't care. Awful customer service, I would advise not staying at this run down hotel.
