We visited Rixos Sharm El Skeikh (adults only) in March 2024 for our Wedding Anniversary. We had a brilliant time and enjoyed it so much we have booked to go again in Nov 24 for my Birthday. I should have posted this ages ago when all the names were fresh in my mind. Reservations - The Reservation team prior to our arrival were so responsive and helpful, we contacted them to arrange transfers from the airport and a request for our anniversary. They responded within 20 minutes to my email. Lobby Bar - The team in the lobby bar were all so helpful and when we walked in on our second evening they had the table we had sat in the previous evening ready for us with drinks and snacks placed on the table which was unexpected but very nice. Pool Bar by block 4 - They all work so hard and I can't imagine how they run around in the middle of Summer, we would grab a coffee by the pool and on the 2nd day when my husband went to order them they had already made them on were heading over to us with them on tray. The lifeguard was also brilliant and so helpful. Beach Bar - We were served most days by Ahmed who was absolutely brilliant, he certainly kept our glasses topped up and couldn't do enough to help, including getting us seats when the bar was busy and contributing to a hangover one morning. Restaurants: Main Buffet was nice, enjoyed eating there although my husband struggled a bit as the queue for eggs could sometimes be quite long. Lots of choice and you can always find something to eat. Indian - absolutely fantastic, great service, great food and the pakora prawns were delicious. Everything we had we enjoyed. Brazilian - Lovely meal, lots of choice of different meats, the filet beef literally just melted in your mouth Italian - Service was a bit slow at the start for water but the food was lovely. We had had lamb chops and steak and the portions were huge. We also had lovely starters but I can't remember what we ordered but no complaints Turkish- Fabulous - absolutely loved our meal here. It was our wedding anniversary and they went out of there way to make it a special occasion. I believe the manager here was Bassan Hany and he was so helpful not just in this restaurant but several. Salt - We had lunch here a few times and it was ok. We did eat here one evening as the fish restaurant but we were both a little disappointed. Bread on table was so hard you couldn't chew it, service was sporadic (evening only). Room - we stayed in block 4 and were looked after by Mustafa, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room spotless everyday and he would check if we needed extra towels or toiletries. Entertainment - We found this a bit lacking, DJ sets which seemed to be repeated and also stopped early. We sat in the lobby bar which could do with a little music in the evenings. Such a lovely room and always quite empty which is a shame. Hope our visit next month is as good as our one in March !

This review is for the Taj Mahal restaurant. Excellent place, great service and great staff. The food was really good too! Special thanks to Mohamoued Khamis, who waited on us in a really friendly, attentive way - really pleasant guy. And Mohamoued the Manager and Hassan. This was our second visit to this hotel as we came last year. When we arrived it wasn't very welcoming at all, was taken to our room he showed us in showed us the safe then was gone. We went to the lobby bar for drinks and the tables were grubby and sticky and a lot of tables still had empty glasses on but thought ok it is midnight now so hopefully will get better after our first night. Breakfast in main restaurant service very slow waiting for your coffee and food luke warm and not replenished quick enough and also at lunch in an afternoon the service seems to get worse! 15 minutes we waited for water after asking 3 times for it as you cant get it yourself they tell you they will bring it over. Salt not too bad for food but service again very poor. A la carte has got so bad to book now! we never once got the Mengal up on the app after 12 days. We booked into the Asian for my 50th birthday and was rushed to a table then waited quite a while for drinks, we ordered our food and starters came and whilst still eating our starters they brought our mains, the food wasn't the beset and wasn't even hot. We ended up walking out because of the service and food. Italian A la carte the food was lovely but the service again was so poor. we booked the Indian and Turkish twice as food was amazing and the service was good and the Brazilian is a must too. Most of the staff in this hotel are lovely but the management are appalling. This hotel is nowhere near as good as last year it needs updating in a lot of areas and the alcohol is so weak it has got to be watered down or fake top shelf because I never felt tipsy or like I'd had alcohol, most of the times I had to wipe my wine glasses as they were dirty and had lipstick marks on them. Night time shows so repetitive nothing like last years shows and fake DJ Fella is still using the same music set from last year about time they got a real DJ with all the money the hotel is getting from the paying guests. For the price this hotel charges I wont be returning a lot needs improving everywhere.

Great atmosphere, very attentive staff,great food,clean would recommend to any of our friends overall great hotel. If anyone has doubts about egypt rest assured I've never felt so safe and looked after whilst in the care of the rixos range.

Staying at Rixos for another holiday. We got upgraded as its Honeymoon so the room was lovely. Fridge had soft drinks and beer. The pools were very quiet for what we are used to and not many activities. We visited Rixos Seagate which had a bigger range of drinks compared to here. Was nice to visit somewhere different. More activities here. Visited octoberfest at both hotels which was good fun.
