We had a truly amazing stay with Rixos that we immediately booked to return within 6 months. My wife and I are fortunate to travel a lot, we now travel a lot with our two young children and I must say the Rixos could not have made it easier to be a family on holiday. All the staff have great attention to detail and seem to really care about their role and making sure guests don't have to have to worry. Firstly, the hotel, it's great. Some could possibly think it's looking tired in places and possibly some parts are, but I feel it's common in Dubai with the city developing at light speed. This said (and I'm incredibly fussy), nothing bothered me in this regard. The rooms were incredibly functional and spacious, again we have two kids and there was plenty of room for 4 of us. Nothing to fault them on. Secondly, staff, all of them amazing. But a special mention must go to Hazem on concierge, a real superstar. Helpful throughout our stay, then was especially helpful when I had the misfortune to injure my finger at the pool in a freak accident playing with the kids. He took me to hospital, made sure I was ok, then even took me back from hospital. Waiting the whole time. That is beyond 5 star care and just above and beyond. Every hotel needs someone like him! There was also Shankar and Freddie at the beach bars and many other special, and many others. All fantastic people. Then lastly the overall facilities, all top notch. Kids club amazing, staff there also great. Pools all clean and fun for families. They even have a daily fruit station which is amazing. On the food side everything is very good, not saying 5 star but at least a very strong 4. The restaurants are probably 5 star but need booking in advance. Overall, would I recommend this hotel to a family.... 1000%, one of the best, better than the Ikos and Sani group (that level). If you are a couple without kids.... probably not. There are a lot of other areas to cover, like evening entertainment which is excellent. The kids party etc ... but would be too long a review. If you are a family, just go, it's great. Rixos we will see you soon!
