We had 4 nights here on a layover in Dubai .. We arrived at half past midnight, we were on half board and club floor .. We were given our key and collapsed into bed and realised we were in a smoking room.. Neither of us smoke .. I certainly DID NOT have this down as an option so I was furious to be put in one… room 2201 Up to the club floor early next morning to be moved This was done and we were moved to room 2803 although I felt we had been downgraded as the L’Occitane amenities were now something much cheaper and the room was smaller We were offered to move again but by then I’d quite had enough of it all so we stayed put.. The Club Lounge, 51st floor has problems .. some of the staff are on SLOW AND STOP mode and receiving drinks, breakfast and canopies some mornings and evenings was painful .. the head staff know this .. they are understaffed and maybe if some of the waiters from the buffet could be moved up there as they are so on the ball, the Club could be fabulous. The half board food was excellent As was the breakfast in the main buffet which we preferred The views are spectacular.. The pool area is run excellently.. it’s a lovely pool on the 6th floor and a good choice for lunch The hotel is also joined to the Wafi Mall which is so handy I hope these problems can be solved as it has so much potential

Honestly the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend upgrading the room so you can have access to level 51! Amazing spa facilities aswell which was great. The comfiest bed we have also ever stayed in. We will be returning! Thanks again
