Really great staff, great standards for the hotel, only a little issue was the first room we were given was smelly, and the second had a broken toilet, which was quickly repaired by the maintenance team, so that's great, but the AC in room 220 does not really work properly. The room does not get cold enough, as you would expect it to be, so at night it makes you sweat, especially when under the blanket.

The air-conditioning in the rooms doesn't allow you to change the temperature setting. It seems to be faulty. I would also like to see fresh towels in the gym more frequently. Otherwise, I really had a great stay. The food in the restaurant was always very good.

I stayed three nights at the Novotel Antananarivo, a business trip between long flights to and from Europe. I've stayed in Antananarivo before, but this was my first time at the Novotel. One of the best business trip experiences I've ever had. The room, the gym, the wifi, the restaurant, the spa, the service - everything was excellent, as good as it gets. Especially the massage I had before departing on a 12 hour flight back home to Paris. The masseuse was professional and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. It made the long flight bearable. The gym was great too - complete with my favorites, a rowing machine (not a Concept 2 like I have at home, but comparable) and free weights, and plenty of room for atretching. Tana is not really a walking town so I won't comment in walkability.

Very nice hotel, comfortable, modern, fully equipped, cozy, friendly stuff. I totally enjoyed staying at this hotel. Tasty dishes at the restaurant, outstanding breakfast, very comfortable and relaxing spa area, roof top bar in the night - that all makes relaxing and very enjoyable atmosphere 😉. What I'd improve: the air-conditioner seems like broken or of a very poor quality. It's same as fen - no intelligence at all. Very dangerous for minors and peope with breathing diseases. Modern aircons can start / stop based on the actual room temperature, change the airflow intensity, constantly changing the direction of the airflow to sustain maximum safety and comfort. The aircons can be definitely replaced with modern, intelligent ones. Water temperature at the swimming pool is quite hot, I've never seen like this. So strange, I'd make the water temperature of the indoor swimming pool 🏊‍♀️ 🥽 5 to 10 degrees Celsius lower. Certainly. Water in the bathroom wasn't going out as it is supposed to making all floor slippery full of soap.

Good quality overall. Rooms are too grey and spiritless for my taste. Great service. The food in the restaurant was mostly bad (just nice looking) - buffet in airport lounge is a relief. Change the chef.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Novotel Convention & Spa Antananarivo. The service was mind blowing from reception to restaurant, to the spa. A special shout out to Notiavina and Ravaka at the reception. They were exceptional. I will definitely come back. I am super sold.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding my recent stay at Novotel Convention & Spa Antananarivo. My two colleagues and I booked and paid for 4 nights. Unfortunately, due to urgent and unforeseen circumstances, we were forced to check out after the first night only. We informed the reception immediately and were expecting the hotel to arrange a refund for the remaining 3 nights. To our disappointment, your management refused to process the refund, resulting in a significant financial loss and creating a very negative impression of your customer service standards. I hereby request an immediate review of this decision and the refund of the amount corresponding to the unused 3 nights. ⚠️ If we do not receive a satisfactory response promptly, I will have no choice but to publicly share this negative experience on the following major platforms, as well as on our company’s official social media channels, followed by millions of people across the Middle East and Africa: Booking.com Expedia Agoda Hotels.com Trivago Trip.com Airbnb Wego I hope to resolve this matter professionally and await your urgent response before taking any further action.

my experience with the staff from the front desk to the restaurant and cleaning staff was amazing. however, there are too many flies in the restaurant when people are dining. this is not only an annoying problem it's also a health risk since flies lay eggs on whatever they land on
