Great location just out of the city center , beautiful area with lots of nature to explore and very accessible . Would recommend having a car if you're staying there - there is parking . Nice well kept rooms with good beds and nice bathrooms .

The temperature in the room was 26.5 degrees, while the temperature outside was the same. There was no air conditioning, the ventilation system did not work. The staff claimed that "everything worked as it should." The manager eventually gave us 2 fans and opened the window (which was blocked). Both nights there was noise outside the window, as if there was a construction site, which is very strange. My family had a choice: to sleep in incredible noise with the windows open or without noise and oxygen with the windows closed. We did not expect such terrible service. We will never stay at this hotel again and will file an official complaint.

The hotel was well placed for Haarlem and clean but there was a discordance between the information on the TV screen about the hotel and the actual facts. The bicycle hire charge was slightly lower on the TV screen. More importantly, the TV screen promised that we could cool the room whilst in fact there was no facility for this. Thus, in summer, the room heated up beyond my comfort level and I would not return there at this time of year.

There was no airco in the hotel, and the climate control was defective. As a result, the temperature went up to 27degC in the room. Children could barely sleep and I was not fit for my meeting the next day. It was even more frustating to hear that the hotel was aware of this issue for more than a month. Unfortunately neither did they solve this issue or were honnest enough to inform their customers. Manu customers were complaining about this. The breakfast was also very disappointing. No compensation was proposed for the worst Accor hotel I have visited as a 20-year faithful customer.
