Unfortunately just another hotel that once many years ago was very nice but has not had any upgrade or decent servicing for what appears to be many many years

As soon as I arrived at about 10 am, your staff assisted me fully to provide information to golf course and even offered me to drive me to the course. Probably this is the first time I am experiencing such helpful staff around. The hotel has a old and beautiful look and looks serene and chill.

booked this hotel because I needed a descent place to stay for my transit from Yogyakarta, and to catch my flight to Doha - Sao Paulo - Buenos Aires. After landing from Yogyakarta, I arrived at the hotel around 20.30 in the evening, to my surprise no one was standing by at the front door. Since I had a lot of luggage, I had to get it out of the car with my driver, with no one from the hotel helping. After getting all of the luggage out of the car, finally a guy from the concierge came and took care of the luggage, but it's a tad too late. I was already exhausted. Thumbs down! The check in process was quick, and the lady in the check in counter was really polite, nice, and helpful. Thumbs up! Oh, I noticed, no one checked our body temperatures when going in to the lobby - since there's absolutely no one at the front door. So no COVID-19 protocols done here. Thumbs down! The way to my room was quite confusing, having to go in and out doors, turn, go in an elevator, turn again, complicated, and when I need to meet with a guest at the lobby, is quite far from the room and it's quite tiring to walk back and forth. The room was okay. There's a bathtub where I could relax. Thumbs up! Because I was staying with my wife and kids, I needed extra towels and mineral water. I called the receptionist for it, but the response was really slow. We got the towels and mineral water after waiting for half an hour. Thumbs down! We requested the breakfast to be delivered to the room. It was okay, nothing special but no complaints there. The check out process was quick, no problem here. Because the amount of luggage that I'm bringing with me, I needed another car to take my luggage to the airport. Since, there were no one else traveling that evening, I'm lucky that I had the hotel shuttle all for myself. But I feel that the concierge who helped me with the luggage and also the driver of the shuttle are not that friendly, they did their job though. So my experience at this hotel was truly a rollercoaster of good and bad. But, I couldn't find any other hotel with a higher star close to the airport.
