My stay was not so good as travelling with baby staff was busy in event on next day my baby is fond of pool cant able to acess it due to labour roaming around pool for event overall stay was ok okish

After attending an exhaustive 2 day wedding event chose to stay at Raffles to unwind and celebrate my infant's milestone before heading back home. My personal belief is that service is what exemplifies a luxurious stay from staying at a place which is fancy. Raffles screams quiet luxury (if that is possible) but what made it special for me was every individual who worked at the hotel. The impossible to ignore greeting to simply checking on our comfort was outstanding. The journey to this island destination starts with a small boat journey to the island where you are greeted and escorted to your room where you get to finish the formalities instead of the usual check in counters. The room we stayed at had a wonderful balcony over seeing the wonderful garden and the water around. A comfortable room with a very well planned bathroom (I am partial towards good bathrooms) The property was very stroller friendly in our case, the gardens were simply wonderful to walk through whenever the hot may weather allowed us to. Coming to the food, we wanted to savour Rajasthani food and had both our dinners at Sawai which i must say was lip smacking. The balance of spices and heat ticked the right boxes for me. The pleasant live music added to the pleasure of eating. We were told to try long bar which served Asian food but refrained as we are surrounded by them back home. The Mrs insisted the last day and we went in for a quick evening snack and we must say came back extremely satisfied with the dim sums. The check out process was as smooth as the check in. The only let down was post the boat ride to the pick up point where we had our vehicle waiting. No one to pick up or help us with our stroller though our luggage already reached before us, the driver didn't know if it was us he had to drop and was franticly checking or confirming the same. Either the standards set by them was tremendous to start and continue with that I was disappointed with this or I am nit picking at this stage is something I leave for anyone to judge. I usually refrain from reviews but the people running the show at Raffles Udaipur definitely deserve an applause for going beyond to keep their guests happy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Superb experience but you could have upgraded us to pool room as it was empty only but hotel said its occupied and should have buffet spread instead of alacart but tyat dosent mean we were disappointed it was too good 5/5 thank you
