Overnight stay, we had a fantastic greeting by the concierge and an excellent check-in experience. Only dampener on the visit was the restaurant and cafe both being closed during lunchtime.

The booking and check-in were smooth. Friendly staff. Convenient location, no shortage of parking. Bed a bit soft for our liking. Room otherwise very comfortable.

The location proved to be ideal for us and was centrally located to so many venues we wished to visit. Reception was a little understaffed at the time we signed in and that caused some delay, we didn't find out the mini bar was a bonus throw in, until we signed out, and a can of soft drink in the fridge exploded but staff, despite us informing them, did not remove it or the other damaged cans despite us staying there for a further 3 days. We were also told breakfast was not included in the first booking [1 day] followed immediately by another booking for 3 days, that did include breakfast. The decision to make it a fourth night was made approx 1 month after the initial booking. We were assured however, via phone, that breakfast would be included. The reception staff member when booking in would not accept what we said, and as we had driven some 12 hours that day, we chose not to argue the point. We were told we would have to 'rebook' in the next morning for the next 3 days and at that time I told a different reception staff member of us adding the extra day and despite assurances at the time, breakfast was not included. This staff member, who was already, smiling, friendly and knowledgable said without any pressure from us, she would update the records to include breakfast. She went further, by escorting us to the breakfast area and introducing us to the host and the rest is history. Our overall experience though was a very good one. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The wheelchair accessible room was great! However I think removing the foot propelled bin in the bathroom is a must! Also, transferring is made difficult with a bedside table on each side of the bed. My electric chair couldn't fit so a bedside table was moved away. I think a manual chair would fit fine though. The soap dispenser in the bathroom needs to be on the side wall to make for easier access but I could still use it
