My stay at Mercure Bengkulu was truly memorable, thanks to an exceptional moment provided by Dwi Kumala, a member of the reception team. She enthusiastically shared insights about Bengkulu's abundant durian season and its affordability, even offering to bring some for me to sample. During breakfast, Dwi Kumala surprised me which I initially mistook for a sampling lunch box. To my delight, it turned out to be a around 5 kg tightly packaged of peeled durian as a gift from Bengkulu. What stood out the most was Dwi Kumala's pride in showcasing Bengkulu's renowned produce and her sincere hospitality, treating guests like cherished family members. It's clear that Mercure Bengkulu selects staff who embody passion and dedication, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere that guests can truly appreciate. Hats off to Mercure Bengkulu for providing such an extraordinary experience.

Since I'm platinum member, I got pear fruit from hotel. I called room service and asked to peeled the fruit but the staff told me to bring the fruit from my 8th floor room to the kitchen at the 1st floor. I never imagined that this is Accor standard of service. Luckily there was a staff that was helpful and help me peel the fruit so I still give 7 point
