Good location but don’t assign room facing up close wall for guests staying 4 nts
Clean and functional room with comfortable beds and pillows. Great location- easy walk to wharf, Salamanca restaurants and shopping on Elizabeth street. Cons - window faced a wall 3 ft away - we were on the 4th floor - felt claustrophobic.

Great location & comfy 5 night stay

Was here for business followed by solo travel for 5 nights. Was on the first floor with a room that had a courtyard view but I didn't mind as I was out most of the day anyway. Room was really comfortable and shower had incredible water pressure. Staff were really friendly and location is a 5 -10 minute walk to everywhere you want to go. Would stay again.

Very sterile with no parking available
Very disappointing experience, we were given a room I can only describe as an impersonal cell, looking into a courtyard, quite claustrophobic. Basic basic facilities no powerpoints, no parking available and the street parking finishes at 8.30am. We were given some complimentary drinks to make up for no parking being available but were only allowed specific drinks that we didn't drink! Can recommend the french bakery for breakfast that was amazing! Didn't eat at the hotel.

We were a close contact after a day on a small cruise ship; despite testing negative to COVID on 8 occasions; isolating in our cabins for 2 days on the ship, we've ended up here in quarantine for a further week. Hotel staff were not prepared for our arrival and no communication from Tas Health on next steps. Told we would be getting dinner sent to our room after arrival. I called reception a few hours after arrival and they said dinner was on its way but we receive some breakfast offerings some time later. Can't open a window and we are in recirculating air con. Brown paper bags with food are dropped at our door. Feeling like we are a disease when we don't have it. Not the adventure we signed up for. Let us out so we can go home and never come back here again!

We have just spent two weeks of quarantine in Hobart (from UK), apart from not being able to go out, that was the only issue. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond for us. The room was very clean, bed really comfortable and king size, The meals were really tasty and we looked forward to the meals. They made us feel special in the messages and notes that came with the meals. The staff brought our requests to our room more or less straight away every time. We have a sister who lives near by, she brought a few things in and they were immediately delivered to our room without a complaint. you can order online at the bottle shops/supermarkets, they deliver to the hotel and then staff can deliver to your room. excellent.
