Novotel doing what they do

It's a Novotel so we know what to expect. They know how to do hotels and this is no exception. Friendly staff on check-in and check-out, but poor service in the bar. Rooms are good with massive TV and plenty of charging points. As ever with the chain, the location is slightly on the edge of town, but still fine.

The stay was satisfactory. However upon entering the accessible room , there was no complimentary shampoo & shower gel… plus no shower cap? Also felt that the lighting in the room was inadequate. The reason was that it was difficult to see properly when trying getting dressed in formal attire for an important function. Also, a complimentary bottle of water should be provided too.. especially in this hot weather…
