The hotel sorted out everything for my quarantine stay. I was fetched from the airport and welcomed to the hotel. The food was good and the room was perfect and comfy. My test and departure were seamless. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I'm impressed how good job the Mercure Jakarta Batavia did during my mandatory quarantine. They tried to do their best to meet my vegetarian meal requests. I especially appreciate that couple of times I got extra big plate of fresh fruit. The food was always served very promptly. When I reported my faulty room phone it got fixed straight away. I also appreciate that always when I requested for coffee capsule refills, these were delivered without hesitation. The 4th day PCR test was done in an effective manner. The 5th day the result was informed promptly to me in the morning. The laundry service worked really well too. I enjoyed watching the Jakarta city from my room window. Thank the whole Team for your great work Terimakasih!

The room was clean and the checkin process was easy. Foods are in big portions and always delivered on time, though the breakfast was often delivered sooner than the time I have chosen in the form. Laundry experience is good as well. However, a point for improvement would be to let the guests take their breakfast outside the room after the bell was rang once, instead of the calling out for each room whenever the breakfast is ready.

Check in was really easy. The rooms are very nice, newly renovated and very comfortable. The only disappointment that the breakfast situation was not too great but that is because of the CoVid situation.

A Quarantine prison sentence

I spent 7 nights in Mercure Batavia for my Mandatory Quarantine period. Seven nights in a room without exiting means that service should be exemplary to keep customers satisfied. The 3 meals a day was not served as per the menu - on any single occasion. No fruit (Watermelon, Mango & Papaya, as indicated) was served - only one banana (served twice) and one orange (served twice). For Indonesian Lunch and Dinner, I had to repeatedly ask for Sambal - which was also indicated on the food Menu. No juice or other drink was served with the meal - except an ample quantity of water. I also had to ask for Tea, Coffee & sugar several times. There was no mini-bar provided - therefore, the 3 meals a day felt more like a prison food. There was no information or possibility of purchasing snacks/drinks from a shop. For a 4-star hotel charging Rp6.7m for this kind of quarantine service (no cleaning required, reduced requests on bathroom commodities, minimal attention required), I was expecting a more relaxed and comforting welcome home to Indonesia.

For room cleanliness needs to be improved because I’m stay on # 568 the coffee table still have sticky of coffee residue as well of next to bedside table and cloth cabinet Please kindly check the shower head in the shower it has mold. Do u ever clean it. Or sanitize monthly or 3 month?

Spacious room, very friendly and helpful staff, did all they can to compensate that "prison-feeling" during the 8 days quarantine. The staff worked hard to manage the challange serving the food in time and still hot / warm (70% cold, 30% slightly warm).
