When I arrived in the room the shower was not working properly ( it was fixed later) and to literally staff were missing from the room but thereafter everything went well

Since there were only a few guests in the hotel, the welcome (late in the evening) and the farewell the following afternoon were very personal. When I said that I had a reservation, I was greeted by name. From the first minute you felt welcome as a guest. The only downside is that you have the choice between a long search for a parking space and a very expensive space in one of the surrounding parking garages.

I had an average stay at this hotel. The room although large and bright didn’t have good air circulation. As a result I am my friend were waking up with dry mouth and tired. The breakfast although tasty and with good selection of dishes was served only till 9am on the week days. We had to wake up early to make it to the restaurant on time. The gym area was fairly well equipped but the sauna and changing rooms were closed for renovation. The points for the stay were not credited after the stay. I visited the property in person about a week later to get this sorted but the points were still missing. Finally after sending an email I got it sorted by the night shift staff. All in all staying at this hotel was below my expectations.

Very unfortunate not to have any hot water to shower the first morning.

It was a wonderful stay. Great service at the reception, and the room was well clean, above the standards I'm used to from other Accor hotels. And the staff took care for my laundry to arrive promptly on time when I told them I have a train to catch at 3pm. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone

It was disappointing. No recognition of my Platinum status, the room was way too hot and when checking out the frontdesk clerk wanted to charge my creditcard for the stay, despite that I had made the booking using reward points. At 0845 in the morning I was checking out, roomservice knocked on the door asking if they could clean the room. The servers in the breakfast restaurant were excellent - great attitude and service. Everything else felt disorganized.

The employees were very kind and friendly. (reception, restaurant). The room was comfortable (although a little bit warm). Well impressed about the safety kit (mask + liquid) we got Well impressed by the employee reception to offer us bottles of water when we left (due to the hot temperature outside) I was surprised that the hotel did not have a parking area available and that we have to park in the Messe.

One night out of 2 freezing in my bedroom 2 nd night with 2 electric radiators not efficient Staff and technical team slow to react ( I have called 3 times without response ) Totally unacceptable for this kind of Hotel in Switzerland

We arrived later than anticipated - checking was efficient, a very warm and friendly welcome. We needed a couple of small things, like a UK adapter - no trouble at all. Breakfast was very good. And we enjoyed the walking distance to Basel city centre! The staff is so attentive, shows empathy and understanding. Everyone is well trained - it makes all the difference!

Stayed there for one night post cruise but had a nice stay. I was sick with a cold and ordered the childrens chicken soup from room service with a salad. It was all very good and everyone I encountered who works at the hotel was very helpful and nice.
