Wrong charge on my credit card

I was charged the wrong room fee on my credit card on arrival. After my complain they said that the amount will be reversed but it never happened. The second day I was charged again another amount without any reason. After my complain it was in this case immediately reversed. The 3rd day another amount equal to the first day was charged for the second time on my credit card. I had to escalate the problem to the hotel manager. In the room I was charged for something on the mini bar that I have not consumed. They reversed the amount saying that was consumed by the previous customer. A lot of mistakes happened and the personnel were not able to manage it in the right way providing explanation. All in all not a 5 stars service.

We arrived for the first time last week, hotel is lovely, drinks and food were delicious. Room wasn’t the best a bit old and carpets a little Grubby. Overall we had a lovely night.

We booked for a four day stay to bring our young child who is 5 on the basis there were lots of activities for the Easter holidays. We have stayed before and it’s a lovely hotel.

This was my first visit staying at the Fairmont. The staff were friendly and very helpful at reception. The furnishings were old and tired looking at reception and bar area. Bar staff need to be more informed about wine varieties, not very knowledgeable. The room drinks and snacks were very expensive and lacked variety. Room was dusty and furnishings old and tired.
