I booked the Gordon Ramsey experience. My friend is a chef and his idol is Gordon Ramsey. We were welcomed to your lovely hotel from the get go. The rooms were traditional and beautifully maintained with crisp fresh bedding. We had drinks in both bars, served by efficient and friendly staff. My wife and my friend had a tour of the Savoy Grill kitchen, which was arranged by the staff at short notice, so my thanks to them. We spent a lovely couple of days, finishing with the most relaxed and delightful breakfast, once again served by lovely staff. From checking in to checking out, the whole experience was wonderful and one to be remembered.

Generally delightful. Our room, the restaurant, the staff were all excellent and we throughly enjoyed our stay. A couple of minor niggles - the light in one of the wardrobes would not go off unless we wedged the door closed with a pillow. We opened one window to get fresh air and could not close it again. At the Savoy, my first stay there, I was most impressed with the personal service and attention most of all. After that, the ambience, the furnishings and the stratospherically high quality of care stood out. Unlike many older hotels, there is no sign of wear or tear in this exceptional hotel. Everything works and is wonderful to behold and to touch. In addition, the staff really seem love their jobs: Chloe, Charlotte, Margot, Matilda, Amoo, everyone. Breakfast is costly, but worth it. The best kipper breakfast, tailored to my specifications without question. I can't wait to return. I would like to book direct next time, but did so with Hotels.com in order to score a few Avios. I should have booked through Accor but didn't realise it was in the group.

The Savoy was charming and on great form. The Beaufort Bar, our lovely junior suite and The Grill all were excellent. The only slight complaint was the attitude of the staff member who checked us out. She was a little cold and nonchalant. Perhaps this only stood out as the rest of the staff were first class in their attitude. A special mention for the door men who were delightful and gave the hotel that excellent first impression on arrival and last impression on departure.

We have dined at The Savoy on several different occasions and have always found it to be a wonderful experience. However, on this occasion we felt very sadly let down. We have never stayed overnight before but on this occasion we were attending the Game & Wildlife Trust Ball on 20 November 2019. We booked 3 rooms - x1 Luxury King (Room 402) for 2 nights and x2 Deluxe King for one night. Although, our Luxury King Room was very clean and tidy the décor was surprisingly very basic. The shower around the bottom of the door looked very tired and worn. Below the windows of our room was a mildew rooftop area backing onto an office block. My husband and I had been really looking forward to staying at The Savoy as we had never done so before and hoped the accommodation would mirror the rest of the hotel and the experiences we have had when we visited in the past to dine. Therefore, whilst we would like to have given a 10 out of 10 rating we can only give an overall 7 rating. The dining experiences on their own were 10 out of 10 but the accommodation was a 5 star rating - average. The rest of our trip was delightful - The Our greeting on our arrival was wonderful. The reservation/concierge were very welcoming and helpful. During our stay , my husband and I dined at Simpsons which was superb. We also dined with our children and their partners in The Savoy Grill this too was excellent. We had cocktails in the American Bar and as usual the cocktails were second to none and the atmosphere lovely. We finally dined on our last evening in Kaspers seafood restaurant and again the service and food excellent.

From start to finish everyone of your staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the hotel accommodations were beautiful. The only suggestion I could make is that you put a hook by the shower for a towel when you get out. I wish we could stay with you every time we are in London but it is not within our budget. This was a special stay. We were celebrating a delayed honeymoon: )

Everything from the private car transfers to the staff to the room to the bars to the restaurants was superb. Service provided and attention to detail was second to none. The Hotel is immaculately maintained, steeped in history and is quite simply the best of British. Fine dining, comfortable bars with character and atmosphere and a first class service throughout the Hotel. The Savoy will certainly become our home in London.

We have stayed 3 or 4 times at the Savoy. The food is excellent, the staff attentive although a little stressed as it was a full hotel on Thanksgiving weekend and the waiters and waitresses were understaffed for breakfast. Loved the choir and evening singers. Rooms are great but we often have to refuse the first one offered to us as it’s too small. I wait in the lobby with our luggage while my wife goes up and inspects the room, before we move in. Eventually we get a bigger room and everyone is happy. We enjoy the ability to walk along the Thames and the close proximity to Covent Gardens shopping.
