Bathroom shower was clogged and water started to pour all over the floors

The shower drain was clogged and it ended up getting water all over the bathroom floor. The staff sent up a maintenance person to see if they could fix it. I would assume that they would send up the maintenance person with a staff member but it was just him. He did not speak English and I needed to help explain the situation using body language and gesturing. We were located on the 12th floor and were moved to the 5th. For our inconvenience we were offered a free drink at the bar, we were leaving at 3am the next morning so this was not going to be used. For the price I paid for the hotel room I would have expected better service. I was staying in other hotels while I was in the area an they left a better impression on me for a lower cost.

Most all was good and I would have given you a 10 but since your bar never closes and your hotel has an Atrium design, the crowd noise at 3 am was unexpected for a five star hotel.

The rooms were fantastic. The building is beautiful, but the way it was designed, allows a lot of noise at night, especially if there is a party at he bar.

The rooms were comfortable and well maintained and the staff was extremely accommodating. Being Vegan, there were not many options, and the options that were available were not to the standard that I would expect from the Fairmont.

From the arrival till the departure, everything was just perfect. We arrived around 11 30 and the room wasnt ready. Based on the request from reception, i left the phone number at reception so they would call me when the room is ready. they never called and i waited till 14 or 14 30... well this is a small detail but had to mention.

Bottle of fizz and birthday cake waiting for us in room on our arrival. Staff all very welcoming and courteous. Breakfast delicious with fresh produce and plenty of variety. Evening meals of high quality - loved having the dj playing great music in the background! Only issue was that we reported our window seal to be faulty on the Saturday morning after a noisy (it was very windy and we were on the 12th floor) and draughty Friday night. We were advised that it would be rectified but we had a similar experience on the Sunday night with sleep disrupted.

Very Good guest satisfaction. From the welcome outside from the piccolo to the nice Staff in the reseption and so on. Breakfast is always great. Very pleased overall. I always request to stay here when i’n in Barcelona. The only ting to improve is the servicelevel of the restaurant. Did not get menues before 15 min. No salt/pepper on table. Needed to ask for bread etc.
