Very Enjoyable and Comfortable Stay with wonderful staff

We had an incredibly enjoyable 4 night stay over New Year at the Mercure in Langkawi. The staff here are out of this world. So warm, so friendly and so willing to help you at all times. The rooms were spacious and modern and the air conditioning worked perfectly . The lobby, common areas and pool were always spotlessly clean. I do have a few suggestions for improvements :- - There needs to be more pool chairs because almost every time we went to the pool the chairs were already occupied and there was nowhere to sit - The buffets for both breakfast and dinner had lots of variety, but there were several cooked items and meats that were not kept hot and were cold when we chose them from the buffet. The hotel is only 200 metres from the main beach, with Starbucks, a Seven-Eleven and plenty of shops all within a very short walk. There was some daily construction noise from 8am on the beach side of the hotel but that didn’t overtake our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Langkawi.

The location of this hotel is great. Plenty of amenities, shopping area and F&b within walking distance. The beach is just across the street. Their breakfast and dinner buffet spread is plentiful and tasty. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We've also gotten a very warm welcome by the hotel staff. Will definitely visit again should we go Langkawi again.

The room is very spacious and beautiful for a solo traveler like me. The staff from the check in to the housekeeping really helpful and friendly. They will always make you happy and feel like home. In the morning, I enjoy the variety of delicious food. Thanks to the chef where he explained to me about the food. He really good at it. Definitely will come again for next trip.

The stay was enjoyable overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were courteous. Breakfast was good, though there is room for more variety. With a few small improvements, this hotel could be excellent.
