A lovely grand building next to the sea. Good value off season, The room had a nice sea view and w3as a good size as was the bathroom. A little bit aged on parts. The bed needed replacement. Breakfast better than expected but a bit inefficient service. The fruit Juice was very poor, sweetened nectar not the real thing, though my wife enjoyed the coffee. All the other staff were very good particularly the door man and manager.

we had a room in the most beautiful place in the hotel, for which thanks. unfortunately there is quite a bit of overdue maintenance in the hotel and the amenities are not complete. no bathrobe, having to pick up water yourself in the restaurant, etc. the restaurant is not satisfactory. This one feels cold (too much light) and the food…. although fresh and a nice try, below par.

I come quite often to Tuscany for work and Grand Hotel Palazzo sits in an ideal location and has all features to not wander in town during business trips. I stayed there one evening and had dinner there. The room was not in condition and lots of electric plugs issue - the shower for the level of the hotel can't have a plastic platform, floors were scratched in a few points. Restaurant was really good with a nice menu and kind service. Breakfast complete and well taken care of.

Grand Hotel Palazzo Livorno - MGallery Is a beautiful hotel, with all the luxury you would expect in a 5 star hotel. The staff are well trained and very attentive, and there is an excellent bar and restaurant on the top floor. There are superb views of the Mediterranean Sea, and wonderful sunsets. In particular Andrea the concierge was very helpful, and recommended some excellent restaurants, amongst many other things. Breakfast was very good, and the terrace to the bar was excellent. There is ample parking space, although the hotel does make a charge for it. The rooms and bathrooms are luxuriously furnished.

This luxury hotel is situated on the waterfront with splendid views of the sea. Our rooms had direct views to the sea, and there are also wonderful views from the rooftop restaurant and bar. Everything about the hotel spelt luxury, and the service from the staff was impeccable.

Overall average Hotel. 5* for Service in the restaurant (dinner) and the Doorman. 4* for Front Office (better knowledge of Livorno activities could have helped). 3* for room service utensils (ie no coffee thermo pot, different delivery vs order), Houskeeping (only better after tipping), rooms (old and worn out, small maintenance work not followed up). Price vs quality is not in balance as big room is not equal high price, therefore could not recommend it further.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Palazzo Livorno on the first night of our honeymoon, en route to the Amalfi coast and had the best welcome. From the check-in/Reception desk to the bar and restaurant on the top floor, all staff were nice and welcoming. Our room was just perfect for chillaxing. We would definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Palazzo Livorno to any traveller who is looking for a nice, well located place for they stay. We didn't get a chance to use the swimming pool, for we had to get going again, but we'll be back!

We booked for a week stay in a Suite at Euro 510 a night. We left three days later. Services and especially housekeeping is non-existence. Even after complaining to the manager, they just don't give a dame. It's awful. Only thing they have is location and the palazzo is beautiful.

I knew MGallery would be a step up from Novotel, but this was a total surprise!! Everything about this hotel was wonderful, including the staff - Ali, and the receptionists day of arrival and day of departure. also waitresses at breakfast, Belen was very friendly . Main thing tho, the quality of cuisine, dinner and then breakfast, was really TOP... I didn't want to leave, and my only consolation is that i will be coming back one day soon with my fidanzata for a honeymoon weekend... Better than some Sofitels I have had the pleasure of staying in; you nailed it with this one, Accor!

There was a flood due to heavy rain in the rooms (2-nd floor) and i had to change the room at around 23:30. I was offered the same room on the 3-rd floor which was even worse. The gentleman which was escorting me was not very helpful and i had a feeling that i distracted him from doing his own staff. And I was completely impressed (in a bad sense of a word) when this gentleman told me: “Take your luggage and go to the reception to wait!” Being a hotelier before for 20 years For me it’s not acceptable at all!

The temperature in the room was at 17 to 18 deg C. The air-conditioning was not operational. This was reported due to local regulations. A portable heater should have been provided. My room reservation was with breakfast. Due to dietary restrictions a egg white scrambled egg was requested. The hotel charged me an additional Euro 9.00 for this egg. The water in the tap was red for a period of 5 minutes. This may be due to rust formation in the pipelines.

Bit dissatisfied with the room we were given, small window to the ocean, photo’s on website are clearly photoshopped. Overall cleanliness of the room was bad, mold in the showers (changing the seals is not a big job and can be done relatively quickly) the tap was greasy(?) and so we had to clean it ourselves before using it. The breakfast was also very badly done. Nowhere in Italy have we been served such horrible coffee, which came long after our breakfast had been eaten. The buffet is nice and extensive, however people just crowded to it and didnt really stand in a line and wait to be served. Also, with a dining room with I would guess at least 100 people I would hope that more than one person would be serving. The location and service otherwise is very good though. Through a misunderstanding we had 2 seperate beds in our room at first, but by the time we came back in the evening this had been corrected to 1 double bed, fantastic! The location of your hotel on the beachfront was also good, although it was a pretty long walk to the centre of Livorno. Overall the hotel could have been better in a lot of small ways that are not so hard to fix. I think if these points are fixed, the hotel would indeed be a 5 star experience. Now, however, I wiuld not recommend this hotel at this price point.

excellent parking facilites, beautiful building, very comfortable bedroom with excellent bathroom. would have rated our stay as a 10, but let down by the restaurant. We would stay at the hotel again, but would eat elsewhere.

After our initial disappointment, we queried whether the room we were given was a superior as per our booking. All website photos showed superior rooms with walk-in shower, necessary as I have knee problems. Our room had a small bathroom with shower over the bath. We were quickly and efficiently moved to a more suitable room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent.
