Family Holiday at the Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort

As we arrived early at 11am, we were unable to gain entry to our rooms until 3pm. We were told to have lunch and return to reception at 3pm. Although we were taken to our rooms and shown around, we discovered the next day that we should have received a map and brochure of the hotel, as other guests received which would have been helpful. The rooms were lovely. Beds comfortable and the views were beautiful. Water was stocked every day in the fridge, together with tea and coffee. In house cleaning was late between 4 and 5, which was inconvenient, as we were returning to our rooms at that time. The food at the Aqua and Edge Beach resort was wonderful, plenty of choice and the drinks amazing - thank you. The Tamarind was disappointing, due to the lack of choice as we were on the Luxury Escapes deal. Therefore we left and went to Aqua. Our deal with Luxury Escapes stated we could have lunch at Aqua and Tamarind together with the Edge Beach club, every day, but this was not possible as Aqua and Tamarind were closed. We were informed that and a wedding was taking place the following day and we could have lunch at the Aqua, as the Edge Beach club would be closed. We then went to Aqua for dinner which should have been a special buffet, only to find the hotel had given preference to the wedding due to the rain. We were allocated a very small area of the outside dining facilities, by the stairs and kitchen entrance. The buffet was very poor quality and inedible. When we challenged the management, they agreed, and we saw other guests complaining. (The buffet was shut down). We even had to push some pot plants out of the way to gain access to the bathrooms. The wedding should have been moved to the private function room to enable all the other hotel guests to use the full restaurant. The night manager who we complained to, disappeared and left it to the Assistant Restaurant Manager Sutthiprapha (Aey) Sa-Moejai who was wonderful and managed to turn the evening around with decent food etc. We felt like 2nd class citizens. (this was reported to reception the following day and the receptionist agreed we were treated badly.} A very big thank you to 'Aey' as she took great care of the children in our party together with the adults Our deal included 2 x 1 hour massages with Nina which were wonderful. Evenings in the Junction bar were made memorable by Eiad who really looked after all of us. She was a fountain of information about the area and was very helpful, very good interaction. Eaid kept our 'free flow drinks hours' flowing. THANK YOU. A shout out to Yoh and Bow too. The bar had a lovely atmosphere and view but lacked nightly entertainment. We had a guitar player on 2 nights only. Nightly would have added to the ambiance. Unfortunately we were unable to use the 'free flow drinks hour' in the Aqua restaurant, which was disappointing if you have young children, who need to go straight to bed after dinner, as you lose an hour of drinks which was included in the package deal. The pool bar and staff were great. The sun beds and cabanas were comfortable, but the area does need a face lift, which was happening as we left. Value for money was incredible with our deal via Luxury Escapes. We should have been given more notice about the ban on alcohol after 6pm the night before we left due to local elections and a special holiday the day after. The hotel informed us the day before. This is a 'date' which they were aware of well in advance. On the whole, we all had a 'wonderful' holiday and can highly recommend this hotel. This is a lovely peaceful hotel, no fighting for sunbeds, which was great compared to european hotels. No noise around the pool with 'reps' trying to get you to join in activities and very family orientated. Location was good, if you wanted to get a taxi to markets or shopping centres, as they are very reasonable. A very good '711' shop, 8 mins walk from the hotel. Kids club great too. Directly over the road is a great Launderette. 60 Baht a Kilo to wash, dry and fold clothes, or 90 Baht to iron the same. A great trip by the '5starmarine' private speedboat tour. Maya bay, James Bond island, phi phi island, lunch, monkey island, swimming in a lagoon and a beach, also canooing through caves and a walk through caves. Highly recommended. We recently celebrated our wedding at Pullman Panwa, and one of the absolute highlights of the entire experience was the exceptional food, curated and executed by the incredibly talented Chef Raju. Over the course of four days and multiple events—ranging from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations—Chef Raju consistently delivered culinary excellence. Each meal was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. From traditional Indian dishes to international favorites, every item on the menu was prepared with care and precision, catering seamlessly to our diverse group of guests. Chef Raju’s attention to detail was evident not only in the flavors and variety of the food but also in how he ensured that each guest’s dietary preferences and needs were taken into account. Many of our guests personally complimented the food, and some even said it was the best wedding food they had ever experienced! The service team under his leadership also deserves applause—their coordination, professionalism, and warm hospitality made each event smooth and enjoyable. It was clear that Chef Raju and his team went above and beyond to make our wedding special. We are deeply grateful for the passion and effort that went into every dish. Thank you, Chef Raju, for playing such a pivotal role in making our celebration unforgettable. The memories of the delicious meals and shared joy around the table will stay with us and our guests for years to come.

We stay at this resort from 11 May till now. We met three perfect staffs in F&B department, Ms. Aey, Ms. Aoy and Ms. Bua providing us a great help. As we taking the kids with us for this trip, three of those lovely staffs helped arranging the tables and baby sits as well as providing the recommendation foods for us. What a nice stay here.

My wonderful experience during my recent stay at Pullman Phuket Panwa Resort. Even before my arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Khun Nut informing me of a room upgrade due to my platinum membership. This thoughtful gesture created a fantastic first impression. Upon check-in, Khun Micky personally showed me to my room and continued to provide exceptional care throughout my stay. His professionalism and helpfulness were truly impressive, and his excellent service will certainly be a key reason for my return. I also thoroughly enjoyed my room, which was very nice and clean, featuring a wonderfully large bathtub and a stunning sunrise view. My breakfast experiences were also delightful, thanks to the warm welcome from Khun Aun and Ann. They consistently checked if I needed anything, and their service was excellent. During dinner at the Tamarin Thai Restaurant, I was greeted with a smile by Khun Bia, who provided attentive service. The food was fantastic, and the overall service was outstanding. As a longtime admirer of Pullman, I consistently find that the level of service provided is exceptional. I have no doubt that I will be returning to Pullman Phuket Panwa Resort in the future.
