We cannot thank Avista Grande Phuket Karon for looking after us during our stay. Everything and everyone at the Hotel made a huge impact on our holiday and we believe it is an experience that we will never forget. Kate who is in Guest Services deserves a special mention - as soon as we arrived we were greeted by her who then passed on her details via WhatsApp and said to contact her anytime. She was very efficient and helpful during our stay, not only did I depart the hotel with the best experience given by her but I also made a lifetime friend. It was difficult saying goodbye. Thank you to Mr. Yogi Rana and Mr. Tony for also introducing themselves and having a large contribution on us enjoying our stay. You should be very proud of the Hotel that you manage and the staff because I cannot fault one thing. Thank you so much again, words cannot explain how much we appreciate it. It just makes us want to rush back to the hotel in a heartbeat! Stay amazing.

Long stay in premium room for non-premium experience

We booked a premium room for a fairly long stay and was consistently reminded of how ambivalent the quality service level was. Overall friendly staff but just strange, like room was cleaned daily, sometimes they would refill the commodities and the next day all glasses and napkins were gone. One day they couldn't sell us fresh juice since it wasn't on the menu, but the next day it was. Some foods were fantastic, some things looked defrosted from the freezer. At one point we ordered a cappuccino through room service and the coffee was that instant Nescafé stuff - I know it sounds petty, but it's just strange and not the service level we expected. When we travelled to the country we asked for confirmation if we needed to do anything extra to come to the country, they provided incorrect information which made us believe we where good to go. Which unfortunately proved to be incorrect and we were sent back home to amend everything. They helped us rebook, but still, why wouldn't you just ask us to go to the embassy if they weren't capable to support? On the last day, checking out we also noticed they accidently charged us twice when checking in. Which I get, these things happen, what surprised me was they didn't even catch it themselves and notify us. Everyone was nice and all but no one apologized even once and we're still trying to get Mastercard to refund us the apx 3000 USD. Again, I've travelled quite a lot, these are things I would be perfectly fine with if the whole thing wasn't sold as a premium hotel at a premium pricetag. I would either recommend another higher-end hotel or check in on a discount.

I like this resort a lot because of the suite room I had, facing the sea and I enjoy the sea view a lot. Overall experience is good, the breakfast buffet has room to improve (I had better one at Pullman Arcadia) and there isn’t laundry service offered.
