Had a lovely afternoon tea here at 1864 Sofitiel, the afternoon tea is beautifully decorated, the savoury ones are exceptionally delicious. John was very commendable for being attentive and efficient during our meal here. Hope to have more seasonal afternoon tea set in the future.

Brischris Couples - TripAdvisor review

As an Accor Plus Platinum (soon Diamond) over the years I have a great deal of hotel experience around the world. Without hesitation I rate the staff at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre as amongst the best, if not the best, I have experienced. From first contact with concierge Clemence to the check-in at Club Millesime with the super helpful Irene and the restaurant staff - all went out of their way to be friendly and go the extra mile. Sadly it’s the little details of room design that let this hotel down. I find these annoying things in too many hotels and wonder if hotel room designers have ever stayed in a hotel room. The rooms are too often about “style” not the way real guests use a room. We were staying in a Prestige Suite. Which on first impression was great until you actually start to use the room and discover 1. No right hand side bedside power point for my CPAP to plug into 2. No hair dryer power point in the bathroom 3. A total confusion of light switches and curtain openings and 4. HERE IS THE BIGGEST DESIGN STUPIDITY I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN ANY HOTEL - the bathroom mirrors were smoked glass and we could barely see a reflection. What was the designer thinking!!! The location is great surrounded by shop houses and China town. And if you’re a train person the hotel lift takes you straight down to the MRT station. Stay there just for the staff but take your own mirrors

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Racines. The food was tasty and service was attentive and prompt. A big shout out to one of the waiting staff Mr Rey. He was very friendly and warm and made special efforts to connect with our 2 yr old grandson who was delighted with the special piece of cake offered by Rey. All in a very pleasant dining experience. 👍

Visited for a family birthday celebration and had a fantastic time. Nice relaxing ambience, warm and friendly service staff and great tasting food and desert! First time here and definitely will be back. Had an interesting and wide selection of cocktails too.
