Car parking has a lot of room for improvement,1) no designated bays for hotel guests, constant competition with Hong Leong staffs/visitors , 2) pricey per entry charges, not ideal for multiple trips on business. All else have been excellent, room & amenities lives up to Sofitel high standards.

Finally decided to give Sofitel a try after we almost exhausted the list of well-known hotels since the beginning of the pandemic. 1. Check in was smooth but there was a slight misunderstanding with check out due to their system being down. Understandable. 2. Room is lovely. Bed is amazing. I'll be returning just for that. 3. The pool area is relaxing. Water is cold. 4. Breakfast buffet was passable. The coffee even more so (please fix that). 5. The ala-carte food at Kwee Zeen and Nizza were delicious.

My second time staying in and loved the comfort, relaxation staying in the Sofitel KL. Room service was good, promptly, esp. keeping the VIP room checked in the evening as well. Thank you. I'm not sure if the room has the option for choosing the pillow, but if there's this option would be excellent. The restaurant staffs are very friendly, and good to have the buffet line back. There are still room for improvement, overall satisfied with the stay as understood everyone are still keeping safe due to pandemic. Happy to be able to stay in this hotel again.

Bad housekeeping

I checked in quite late, prolly around 5pm. However, my room wasnt quite ready - there weren’t even towels, slipper, etc. So I had to call and asked for them. The staff did deliver the items to my room (in unpleasant manner, not folded and all). When I was about to take my shower, I noticed that there wasnt any face towel provided so I had to call and wait again. I was already getting upset so I questioned the housekeeping why my room wasnt ready, why couldnt they provided what they missed and their response and I quote “cos you only asked for towel” was very very annoyingly unacceptable. The manager did come to my room and apologize but yeah the damaged is done and I’m already upset that such nuisance has affected my stay. This was my third time that I stayed at Sofitel - the previous two was excellent. Don’t think I would repeat again.

Please make sure the bedsheet is change to clean one upon guest check in because there is dirty stains on the bedsheet I sleep on. Besides, when I move the sofa, I had found out there's potato chips which didn't cleared by housekeeping. On the 2nd day, I had informed housekeeping to clean the room but when I returned to my room, I had realized they left the garbage bag with garbage on the chair. Hopefully this can be improve and I am willing to give second chance to book your hotel again. Thanks.

Great facilities. Bed Pillow abit soft and room view blocked by nearby surrounding buildings. And parking rates abit high even with flat rate.

The stay was pleasant, room was clean and tidy. The welcome experience could do a little better. Valet could buck up a little on their greetings. Room service shows that it is open 24hrs but was not inform on the timings during check in. Please fix your in room phones as i keep calling to operator , housekeeping but no answer. Overall everything else was good. Will come back for more

Requested additional body shampoo after my long day shopping. Reached hotel around 11.30pm on 8th Jan 2022. Informed receptionist that I need one more set of body shampoo. Waited 2 hours and there’s nobody sending over to my room. Gave up! During the request time, he was not really care of our request. First & last stay @ this hotel.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful room with decent amenities and huge tv. Midweek parking will be myr26, after one out and in. Weekend is cheap. No Hot Water at first, but quickly resolved. Broken lights upon checkin, showing room not pre checked. Breakfast buffet is decent, but suggest fresher croissants and pastries.

5 Star Hotel with 2 Star Service

The Good 1. Beautiful rooms - our kid loved the bath tub 2. Somewhat strategic location The Bad 1. Staff dont seem to be interested in their jobs and gave conflicting info regarding carpark exit procedures and check out times (one said 1230pm and another at 1pm) 2. Be prepared to pay RM13 a day for parking 3. Rude valet staff - we were on the side lobby driveway loading the bags into the car after check out, we had to strap our toddler into the baby seat and valet guy rudely asked us to move along. i tried to explain we were trying to strap our kid in but he didn't seem to care - all because a huge 6 series BMW was somewhat 'blocked' and couldn't get past. 4. Incompetent front desk staff - after paying the full hotel stay upon check in, we were told to pay an additional 6% SST when checked out. I asked why it wasn't charged when we paid earlier, he replied that it was only effective 1st Jan. Still, i don't see why he couldn't charge it all at once. I wouldn't patron your hotel ever again. I will bring my $ elsewhere.

Worst Hotel Stay Ever !

Worst stay ever in a hotel and this is why : 1) Checking in experience - Bad as the rooms were not ready even though early check in was confirmed for the connecting rooms. We had booked 3 rooms. We arrived only 30 minutes before 2 pm although early check in was confirmed at 1pm. Rooms were non-smoking but 1 king size bed room has smoking smell ! 2) Cleanness of room - the bedsheet had yellow stains - small patches in 2 rooms ! Insufficient towels 3)Room Service was too slow - to get a meal it took 1.5 hours after 3 reminders ! 4) Staff service - Inefficient , not friendly nor helpful 5) Food outlets - service slow and on 29 Dec we had booked the Chinese restaurant at 8.45pm. We arrived early at 8.30 pm and ordered our food. At 9.30 pm we were informed that there was insufficient supply of gas and thus no food. All other outlets Kwee Zen and Nizza had similar issue. No other options were presented to us and a feeling of resignation amongst the staff dealing with the situation . No senior management on hand to explain or handle the situation despite us requesting for them. This was suppose to be a relaxing stay vacation for us especially my mum who is an invalid. Please imagine the dilemma we went through to procure dinner for her after 9.30 pm. On Check Out , there was no awareness of the ordeal we had gone through the night before. No apology let alone remorse ! Worst hotel experience ever.

I hope that the drop in services was due to Covid and not it has slacken over the years. I had stay during their soft launch and had such wonderful experience, was eager to come back if opportunity arise. However, the recent stay was such a disappointment, services and quality has fall into similar class as 3 or 2 stars.
