It is in a good location close to airport and old Dubai. Easy check in. Staff were good. Disappointment with the house keeping. The rooms were not cleaned and the towels were not replaced. Came to the room Late night to see the room was not done. When we rang the reception they were asking me too many questions as if I made a mistake. Not next time.

Because of my Platinum status, I was upgraded to a nice suite (704). Comfortable bed and powerful shower. Dependable WiFi and both a working desk in the bedroom and table in the living room enough space, so good to connect with digital meetings. Friendly and attentive staff, apart from one pool attendant at the Mezarinne pool when I didn't register for a towel at an empty desk. See my reviews on Tripadvisor and Google for details on the incident. The hotel doesn't serve alcohol, but the Millenium Hotel which has a nice and cozy bar is less than a five minute walk away. The only thing that I am used to as a Platinum member of the Accor All Group that wasn't offered this time, was a free minibar and free breakfast in the weekend (in the Swissôtel Al Murooj they even give you a free breakfast even every day). But maybe these things are only limited to guests staying in a Novotel, Sofitel of Swissôtel and not in a Mercure. But overall a decent luxurious hotel at a reasonble rate, also because I was staying in the holy month of Ramadan and then there is a pricedrop for any hotel in Dubai during that period.

Room quote old Not properly cleaned when I came in - still some stuff in the fridge for instance They did not clean the room on the first day either did not make bed or anything
