Our stay with you was very short as we were flying out the next day but while we were there the staff were very friendly and accommodating the room was perfect and we would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was amazing. We would recommend the Novotel to other people.

Ideally located to access exhibition centre, QPAC and all the South Bank eating options within easy walk distance. Parking was not available at the venue and had to park at the exhibition centre which was at an additional $28 on top of the hotel fee.

Firstly, there was very little in the way of information regarding parking when booking on the website. Upon arrival, I asked the reception as to whether parking was available as I had parked across the road at the Convention Centre. I was advised that parking was available and paid for the night. I relocated my vehicle from the Convention Centre carpark only to later discover that I could have stayed parked at the Convention Centre at a reduced rate due to an arrangement with the Centre. So I not only paid $15 for a 10 minute stay before relocating my car, but then paid $35 for a park downstairs. I could have paid $28 and stayed parked at the Convention Centre, but staff did not make any effort to convey this information. Having been uncertain what our movements would be for breakfast on the morning of our departure, I had not booked a room with breakfast. As it turned out, we had time for breakfast at the Novotel and proceeded downstairs. I quoted my room number, but as I had not booked a room with breakfast was changed an additional $20 for breakfast for 2. Upon querying the charge, I was advised that as I had not booked the bed and breakfast package, I was charged $79 for breakfast. I am an Accor group member and booked through your website. This soured what was otherwise a very pleasant stay at your hotel.

Instructions at checking weren't clear, and I parked at t. wrong external car park. This resulted in double expected parking fee. Also no room service available when I returned tired and hungry after midnight.
