Reception staff ok but not very smiling or happy to be their I checked in to my room which I was checked in to a dirty room then was checked in again to Someone else’s room I then saw a lady Who was working for house keeping which I asked for help and im sure her name was Lucia something like that she took us down to reception carried are bags for us then when checked in to are actually room helped us with all the bags and made sure we had everything and if their was anything we needed I would like to say a huge thank you to the housekeeping team cleaning all the rooms and always smiling away and when asking to get to spar or reception always happy to help and get us things I have to say room was very clean and smelled their house keeping staff are excellent shame they don’t treat them right ! All I will say is the rooms could do with some painting or some refurbished but rather than that it was lovely in the room shame about reception checking us in to dirty room twice but let’s hope when we stay their again they get it right and not keep blaming on their housekeepers ! Thank you Lucia and housekeeping team 10/10

Having a fond memory of this hotel I book to stay last weekend with my partner. Standards have dropped ! Dramatically ! A fairly expensive few for a two night stay, breakfast not included ! Room was ok, but towels were in short supply and only one pillow each on the bed ! The hotel felt tired and lacking the buz that I’d remembered on previous stays. Left disappointed and sad. Would be rushing back !

We have stayed many time in the last two years have to say the hotel is starting to look tired hall carpets faded walls need painting shame as like the place, the reception staff are great but like everywhere else not enough cleaning staff

Food was awfully cold and a power cut that meant we had no tv for the time we was there it was horrible as we had to use our own data spend more money and just couldn't relax also emailed with no response

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Please let me apologise for any inconvenience caused to you during your stay. Unfortunately we had a power cut due to the extreme temperatures that weekend. It affected the whole area surrounding the Hotel. UK power networks kept us informed and the power was restored after a short time. This did have an impact on the TV's however this was rectified within a short time. I am disappointed to read that you didnt receive a response to your email. We response to all feedback whether online or direct. If you booked through a 3rd Party then we do not receive it at times.
