Cold. Over priced. Avoid

faysherree Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Cold. Over priced. Small. Room heated by small oil radiator. Made complaint. Was offered to relocated. Was advised it was also likely to be cold. Issues referred to an invisible twice. No one available. For £200+ a night hotel. This isnt even what I expect from a 50quid travel lodge.

Better than expected

Better than expected. Room was small but had everything needed. Bathroom was nice with toiletries. Location excellent. Staff very helpful and breakfast was good value for money. Asked for a quiet room and got one tucked away. No view bit also no noise so perfect for our needs.

Lovely hotel and staff

Great location. Close to St Nicks market and walking distance or cheap taxi to Clifton and other areas. Only reason it’s not a 10 is that the toilet seat was broken when I arrived

Dear Christopher, Thank you very much for your feedback. It's fantastic to hear that our prime location added value to your visit, and having St Nicks market and Clifton within a stone's throw really is a treat! Plus, who doesn't love a good bargain when booking directly, right? As for the cheeky toilet seat incident, I'm glad it didn't dampen your spirits. We're all about solving problems swiftly here, but clearly, you're the kind of person who doesn't sweat the small stuff – we admire that! It would be a pleasure to have you return on a future occasion. All the best, Mahesh, General Manager

Not a pleasant experience.

Hi there, Thanks for spending some time to leave us a review about your stay. It's fantastic to hear that our location hit the spot for you, we love being right in the heart of Bristol where all the action is! Now, about the bed situation, that certainly doesn't sound up to our usual standards, and for that, we're really sorry. Our rooms typically feature the comfy king or double beds as promised, so it seems there's been a bit of a mix-up. Rest assured, our team is always on hand to ensure you get the good night's sleep you came for. We also take pride in our historic building and its modern comforts, so I'm a tad surprised to hear about your concerns regarding cleanliness. That's definitely not the norm around here, and we'll look into it to keep our standards sky-high! We hope we have the chance to welcome you again. All the best, Mahesh, General Manager

Nice stay shame about the stains.

Farr-Duvall Couples - TripAdvisor review

Room was large had a suite, bed was comfortable, only thing that let the room down was stains on carpet and marks on wall / skirting boards. Bathroom was well appointed, staff were friendly and helpful. Paid for parking in advance which was easy. Location on a whole was excellent. Would stay again.
