Disappointing- Initially I was told I didn’t have a confirmed booking- young receptionist clearly flustered and rude - took 25 minutes to resolve to be told I was only staying in the room for one night - I had booked 2 nights!! Went to the room and the key didn’t work! Returned to reception and was given a brusque response. I met the duty manager in my way back to the room and explained what happened- he apologised and told me he would resolve the room issue. The following day I returned to the room to find the key not working again! I returned to reception to be told I had to move from the room to another ! I refused to do so and asked them to resolve the situation and let me return to my room as I was very tired. Due to further business meetings I extended my stay for a further 2 nights ( against my better judgement as it turned out). However on the evening of my 4th night the hotel was invaded by a horde of noisy and unruly children ( parents in the bar ) running wild around the hotel lobby areas and the bedroom corridors. I called reception whom told me there was nothing they could do!!!!!! I ended up moving room to a quieter part of the hotel - where the children still rampaged around the corridors shouting and yelling. I am amazed that the hotel didn’t act quickly and resolve the situation. It was clear that they didn’t have the skills or the resolve to ask the party to be quiet or leave. I ask you why this didn’t happen? I stayed for 4 nights and felt like I was treated like a second class guest. I will be in the area for the next 8 weeks requiring a minimum of 3 nights stay per week and will not use your hotel despite it being the closet location for my meetings. All in all it was a very disappointing stay and on my experience I will not be recommending your hotel to any of my business colleagues. I await your response Robert P.

Only one disabled room, only one disabled toilet which was quite a way from the marquee where my grandsons wedding party took place. Wheelchair accessibility not good. Too many stairs . We had 5 people in wheelchairs, no ramps, other guests had to lift these people in and out.

Check in was smooth and customer service attrocious. My complaint is that we were there for a wedding expecting a 4 star hotel. Our room was run down carpets were stained, ceilings in the room bedroom and bathroom were peeling and paint coming off. For nearly £140 (NOT INCLUDING BREAKFAST) IS a rip off went to have a meal in the restaurant no one to greet us. Had to find our own table and seat ourselves down then find our own menu. Not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. Friends from the wedding party paid nearly half the price and their rooms were decent.

Was given an adjoining room walls were paper thin could hear everything either side. Eve meal was the equivalent of a shop bought microwave, in fairness they did refund meal. I'd not stay here again. I would like to add staff tried there best.

We had a family gathering to celebrate my sons 16th in the burston suite. overall it went well, the staff that organised our party [Rosie and then Marie] were wonderful and coundn't help more. I must also say the lady that lead the swerving of our meal was wonderful but i cant remember her name. She was fabulous organising everything and the team serving us. She was absolutely exceptional. There were a couple of things that went wrong as we were double charged for prebooked bedrooms that I paid for. The only thing that spoiled the morning on Sunday was the a lady called Rita serving breakfast. Withour exception she was rude to everyone as they came to join us saying they couldnt have breakfast as shed already checked their name off the list, or challenging childrens ages in a very loud and aggressive manner in case they had to pay more. When we stood near our table seeing people off, despite it not being busy she kept barging people out the way to get round tables for some unknown reason. We also observed her seating two sets of guests at the same table, and then being very rude to the first set of guests who had gone to get juice. She said the seating error was theor fault as theyd failed to leave something on the table to show they were going to use it. It is s small thing, but after such a wonderful event was organised by a fabulous team, the image that people are left with sadly was this very rude lady.

Really nice hotel with good facilities. Pool and Gym were lovely and eacy to access. Room service was excellent and the food and breakfast facilities were brilliant. A wide selection of food. Parking was free and also so was wifi - really eacy to connect to too. TV has freeview channels and there was a bath and shower in my room, together with an iron, safe, hair-dryer (it's in the drawer). Only small thing is that the windows were quite thin and I could hear things outside on a morning which woke me up. This just may be due to the positioning of the window - near the bins. Otherwise, really nice place.

first time stay in the hotel so expectations were high. Nice check in experience, nice room but let down with service in the restaurant. I will say however that there was a lot of staff training going on but perhaps there were too many new staff per full time person which led to long delays in service and check backs so much si that i gave up waiting for a desert menu

Stayed on business, good customer service and easy to book, however disappointed with the room. The room is in need of updating the carpets were in poor condition and the paint work was not good at all.

My experience was not so good with the billing. Fortunately, Paulina was able to resolve my problem after much work to ensure my VAT bill came to the same total as that charged to my business card. The original bill was not acceptable to my accountant and it may be something that requires reviewing by you as I booked on-line.
