Unfortunately using foreign staff who do not have a good command of English does nothing to enhance the efficiency of your establishment. The receptionist was unable to find our booking and her lack of English made it extremely difficult for us to confirm our booking. It was only after I was able to show her the confirmation of our booking on my mobile that we were able finally book in. Why not employ English staff so that we are made to feel that we are in our own country. The meal and overnight experience was pleasant apart from the tough "Fillet" steak and the over indulgent chocolate sweet.

Food in the bar was very tasty, super sized portions and great service. Receptionist when we first arrived was especially unhelpful and would not allow us to check in 20 minutes early so that we could have a room number to use at the leisure centre. In spite of the pouring rain, we were not allowed to access the leisure centre through the hotel and were made to walk around the perimeter which left us soaked. Room was comfortable and clean but the heating in the hotel was set too high; despite having the air conditioning on and windows open in February, it was an uncomfortably hot night in the room. Breakfast was tasty; choices were varied and service was excellent. If it wasn’t for the receptionist and temperature of the hotel, I would have given this a 9 or 10 review

My partner and I just wanted a romantic retreat to have some quality time together, The hotel was very clean well presented the room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were impeccable from the moment we entered into the lobby till the time we checked out at this point i would like to mention the housekeeping staff whom were the best I've come across in any hotel, they were always there when needed and unobtrusive when not, any request was handled with no fuss and promptly. My partner go away at least once a month for a weekend in the UK and this stay was very memorable for all the right reasons great value for money.

We’ve stayed at The Noke ever since discovering this amazing hotel since 2014 whenever we visit London. Facilities could not be used as had a child at the times we wanted and when we could use them we had half an hour before a fitness class and we were asked to leave the pool. Total rubbish .

No sleep!

I stayed for 5 nights and barely slept. All I heard was cars wheel spinning and revving their engines to the maximum to the early hours. There is a petrol garage opposite the room I spelt in and with the single glazing that’s all I heard. After asking to cut my stay short the hotel would not allow this, as in would not refund me and wouldn’t move me. The hotel wasn’t as clean as the Premier Inn I finally resorted to stay in later that week just to get some rest. Carpets were torn and stained in places along the corridors. Gym was closed when I tried to attend. An awful experience and as a regular business user if hotels would never stay here again. Will leave a review also on Booking , Expedia and TripAdvisor over the coming days!

We booked rooms 107 & 108. I was hit by a musky smell as soon as we entered our room so had to leave windows open all day. I shared a room with my 10 year old niece, we were woken up in the middle of the night by what must of been a party going on in the room near by and even worse a drunk couple arguing, shouting and swearing outside our room. This was meant to be a relaxing enjoyable stay!

we arranged a post-wedding reception lunch for my son and decided to stay overnight as many of the guests were. The reception went very well, staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and the food was good. Our room was a reasonable size and clean, bed was comfortable. Only glitch was that there was noisy machinery outside which made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was good value with a variety of food including cooked breakfast, pastries, cereals and rolls, and a pancake maker. The decor needs modernisation and a lift would help as I have difficulty climbing stairs, as did others. Later on we had pizza's from the bar which were delicious! The one real criticism I have is that the mirror in our room had been blocked by the TV and there was no mirror over the dressing table which made it difficult to apply makeup.

Stayed as I needed to be in the area for a course. The hotel was pleasant and lovely pool facilities. Unfortunately I was woken may times in the night by what sounded like it of control children running and screaming down the corridor outside my room. Then someone opposite complained and the manager proceeded to talk to the other guest about the situation right outside my door, only stopping when I actually got so frustrated that I screamed "shut up" at which point they finally stopped. I ended up over sleeping the next day from lack of sleep and was rushing to get out, only to find the reception staff too busy chatting to each other to bother to ask me if everything had been ok with my stay. As I was already late I wasn't willing to stay and wait for them to finish.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. This was a special treat for my family as my son has been diagnosed terminally ill & he was fund raised to stay over night in a hotel & go skiing. Due to the location, look & reviews of the hotel we picked to stay at The Noke. On arrival I thought the hotel, rooms & facilities were dated but everything was clean so i thought that was more important. During the night myself & my children were woken up by the room next door being very loud, drunk & were having what sounded like a party. Then a couple broke out into an argument along the corridor. The man was very abuse to the lady & used lots of very offensive language - which my children could hear. I did go down to speak to the night manager & was told he was trying to sort it & if the noise keeps up to call him again. This was all going on between 1.30-230 am so I am not being unreasonable. Its appalling. On check out i was offered no further apologies or reduction to our room rates. So what was supposed to be a special weekend for my family making memories ended being one I’ll try to forget.
