Travelzoo offer - Superior room-Bottle of lovely Prosecco first night included-and nice breakfasts Think some better standard white and brown bread for toast could be offered and also the actual Servery needs making more attractive -food for breakfast lovely and hot and plentiful though. Staff were lovely throughout the hotel - that matters more than anything -so well done all staff for making our stay a very pleasant one -we shall definitely visit again!

Very central location next to the Liver Building, Docks and Pier Head with own car park nearby. Large Premium room with nice comfortable bed, river view and good facilities. Breakfast excellent too. Stay only marred by discovering on last day that the door lock opened with or without the key card!!! Watch out for drooping door handles which may indicate spring mechanism is broken and door doesn't lock.

Very friendly staff, everything clean and the large room had an excellent outlook. Restaurant for breakfast very well organised and choice could not be faulted However there was no hot water supply to the shower, only cold! Also, the room lighting could have been better.

Ideal for all the Beatles museums and other attractions. The room had a great view of the river but was a little tired looking.

Great location with great views over the Mersey

Overall great stay spoiled slightly by an overly hot bedroom with poor air conditioning. Friendly efficient staff and well appointed room.

Our rooms were very clean with good views out of the windows.

Four of us including my grandson enjoyed a two night break at the hotel which is centrally situated near to amenities. All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. When then the manager discovered it was my grandsons 11th birthday a card and some sweets were left in the room for him. This gesture was greatly appreciated.

Room dusty ( bathroom). Staff in restaurant not interested except chatting together. Food indifferent. Desk attendant couldn't book us a table - we had to phone the restaurant our self - never known this !

Convenient location for Albert Dock

Welcoming friendly staff. Lots of areas need better cleaning. Bed very comfy and clean. Breakfast good on first day but second day not so good. Sausages and bacon barely cooked and all items were on the cold side. The trays that the juice glasses were on were very grubby round the edges. Hotel well located for visiting Albert Dock and very quiet at night.

Very good location overlooking the river and easy walk into the main city centre

Lovely welcome to find we had been upgraded to a suite, and were given a free drink in the bar too. Comfy bed, good sized bathroom, any extras were easily obtainable from reception. All staff we encountered were friendly. Good choice of food at breakfast. My only comment would be that as the windows did not open in the room, there was a slight fusty smell. Overall, we would definitely stay here again, the location is very good, opposite the Liver building and the cruise terminal

From reception to breakfast the staff were very good. However we would advise guests to avoid meal deals. We were offered one but found that it only allowed £19-50 paid in advance against the menu and then had to pay the real price on the night. No £19-50 menu was offered to us. Same with parking, paying in advance doesn’t guarantee a parking space.

Alan W. Business - 11/10/2021 Confirmed reviews ALL

this was a rescheduled four night visit delayed due to Covid. few grumbles but under the circumstances good service Disappointed that food and bar bills can no longer be charged to the room and settled on departure. This is inconvenient and The Accor website states that you earn points dining at Vista Bar @ Mercure Liverpool, which appears not to have been taken into account.
