Situated in the heart of Aberdeen close to the bus station, train station, ferry terminal, 727 bus route to the airport, Union Square shopping centre, and Union Street shops you couldn’t ask for a more convenient location. In addition the room was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and the heating worked well.

Reception on arrival did not give us good impression. There was no additional information given e.g. car parking at rear of building, nor any offer of help with getting familiar with hotel or city. Reception was bare minimum. The bar staff and breakfast were friendly. The bar was left unattended for long periods. The room was clean with plenty of storage but the tea and coffee facilities was hopeless.

The room had no natural light. The windows were blurred. What’s more, the room was right next to a fire door that had to be opened to get to the bedrooms. It was extremely noisy, especially in the morning.
