Lovely hotel, but pretty taken aback that we could hear the people talking/singing/making a phone call that were staying in the room next to us. It was quite clear, and for such a new build, I am puzzled as to why these rooms are not sound proof??

I requested an early checkin when I made the booking 2 weeks beforehand. I was told there was no guarantee that I could get an early checkin but they would make every effort which I totally understood. I was attending a wedding and the wedding bus was leaving from the Sebel at 2.20pm. Checkin is a very late 3pm and I needed to get ready before the wedding. When I arrived at 10.30am I was told my room would be ready at 1pm which I thanked them for. I sat and waited. At 1pm I went back to reception and was very rudely told my room would be ready at 2.30pm. They were annoyed I asked. No offer of help at all. Tough luck. I would have expected more. My daughter is in the hotel industry and explained what they do for people requesting early check in, and as far as I could see there was no effort made. Neither did anyone seem to care.

The stay was amazing, the bedroom are clean and tidy. Very beautiful. However I would not recommend anyone buy the breakfast, the pastries were dry and cold, same with the pies. Very dissatisfied with the food to be honest
