The hotel is great. Its just a little understaffed. Only a couple agents on the check in desk. We had to wait on our suite to be cleaned for over two hours as well because one person only was cleaning it.

Amazing staff, clean rooms, packed swimming pool on weekend, no social distancing during covid period, breakfast was decent, the beach is at the opposite side of the hotel

We were shocked when we arrived on Friday - the hotel was "packed" and was extremely busy but the staff at the reception managed to stay calm and served each customer at a time. The rooms were spacious and clean, we booked 2 twin size bedrooms and 2 king size bedrooms. The king size bedrooms have a spacious living room and our balcony was facing the pool area. When we arrived, the pool was already packed hence we decided not to swim (0 social distancing which was a huge disappointment). We were supposed to have early dinner at the hotel but when we entered Al Liwan they informed us that they only serve a buffet so we tried to walk further and found Aysya Restaurant which was unfortunately closed. We were already starving at that time due to the long wait at the reception area so we decided to order online. The food was delivered in 30 mins. so I suggest ordering your food online instead. We got up at 6:00 am to walk at the backside of the hotel where they had a beautiful walking area facing the beach. However, you cannot swim on the beach that's at the back of their hotel because of the big rocks. You will have to take the shuttle that is provided by the hotel to the "turtle beach" which was located at the opposite side of their hotel (300 m. away). We had our breakfast at Al Liwan - food was decent but they were short-staffed and guests started serving food on their own. At 8:00 am, we rushed to the pool as soon as it was open to avoid the crowd. When the people started arriving at the pool, we decided to visit the turtle beach and swam there instead as there were few people. After swimming, we took the kids to the hotel's arcade area "pirates club" where both kids and adults enjoyed :) We played table tennis while the kids were busy playing arcade games. We ordered pizzas at "Al Forno" which was in the "Pirates club", their pizzas were great. I could have rated this hotel a 9 but had to give them an 8 due to lack of staff and packed pool area during this pandemic.

Complimentary water on beach is not offered like other 5 stars hotels. Social distancing is not exactly applied in restaurant (outdoor area) nor on the beach. Front office manager insisted that my wife stay back while I was checking in, despite that I made clear that we are from the same household and there is a barrier between us and the check in employee, plus the group near us were causing too much crowd while checking in, and no one told them to stay back. Room is outdated, bed is not comfortable, value offered for money is not worth it.

first of all the hotel was overpopulated, too many guests, too much cue for the check-in we spent almost 45 min for check-in due to the reservation team didn't confirm the reservation even after its fully paid 2 days before, the pool wasn't a pool it s more a fountain, people swim with their clothes !!!!! the worst experience was the breakfast, too many people without distance I felt myself in a souk and not a restaurant, this is my first worst experience in UAE, it 5 stars resort I doubt really, kids club was empty no one to answer our request, and then the chef who prepares the pizza was our waitress, in the end, we didn't want to be there. The A/C in the room made too much sound all night, no entertainment at all, we went to relax, and we got more headaches. before I book I asked about the sauna if it's operative they confirmed to me that's fully operational, once there we find out it wasn't if we can call that a lie or a non-professionalism???!!!! in the end, it's a destination to be forgotten forever. I can't advise any of my friends or family to be there. the only team who was doing their job correctly are the housekeeping and room service, the rest need too much improvement for a 5 stars hotel

Overall nice experience but hope to improve the service and make it faster. Also be available when someone calls the hotel. Also answer the guests calls faster because i called many times and got no answer then i had to call other service number to finally get an answer and they said we’ll send your message to the concerned person.
