The Pullman was very nice. My wife and I have been coming to Cuba for the last 40 years. 4 times this year. The people are genuine and so respectful. The hotel overall was great, food, cleanliness and services. But if i had to come back for anything that pulls me back, it would be the animators. they work so hard to make sure that the vibe and time passes with a great experience. They were wonderful hosts and it was non stop fun which made the time pass so fast. 5 stars to Alberto, Salvatore and the girls who made it such a memorable experience. fantastic job. Hope to see you all soon.

I’ve been to the Pullman at least 15 times, pre Covid, during and recently, and have witnessed all the hiccups along the way. Over the years my husband and I used to try a different resort in different areas of Cuba but after trying the Pullman we kept coming back. You won’t find another resort that has such an incredible staff and it is for this reason we return time after time. If I had to list every name of the workers who have become part of our Cuban family this review would never end but there are a few that always go above and beyond. One of the newer animation team members, Alberto has risen to the high level of professionalism that his predecessors like Adrian, Ahmed and Richard have set. Always energetic, always with a contagious smile and happy to help where he can. The servers are 5 star, Riggler at the lobby bar, Hermes at the pool bar, Buddy at the Collection Beach bar, Wilbur at the main beach bar, the list goes on. I could list numerous names, the waiters, lifeguards, maids, gardeners, bellboys, etc. Cuba is Cuba. You don’t go for 5 star dining but if you love the sea and want a vacation where you truly feel you are family then go to the Pullman and get hooked.

Vacation never be forgotten.

Pullman, January 21-28. Different people, different grievances. I will save you time and point to one big problem that is not specific only to Pullman, but to Cayo Coco in general, namely the worrying repetitive infrastructure issues that people have recently experienced in Cuba. Whatever period you take, there are always reviews about power or water outages. And it starts looking more than a sporadic problem. It might be a sign of crumbling infrastructure, I don't know. Or maybe the infrastructure is not coping with the ever growing number of tourists. You clearly see that when you are inside the local airport, for example. We had a 4-day water outage during our stay which seriously affected our stay. We only had water sporadically, which was not enough even to fill the toilet reservoir. The pressure was so low you could barely have a shower. And we were lucky. Other people didn't have water at all. They had to use the hotel washrooms which were in a deplorable state, as you can imagine. I will spare you the details. No formal apology was issued from the hotel administration. They just kept saying ''Well, it's a general outage which affects the whole island of Cayo Coco. '' Sort of, not our problem, it's the water plan, stupid. Other than that, business as usual: the food is good, people smile and sing. Whether you can or don't give tips, it does not matter: there is always something broken in your room or something missing, like towels, etc. (see other reviews. ). Or you ask for water, and they bring you wine. And vice-versa. And it's ok, nothing to complain about giving the price you pay. But 4 days without water? Sorry, that doesn't look to me like a resort, more like a camping in the wild. Also, if you plan on staying at this hotel, bear in mind it's not a mere chance that the Kite Surf Club is located in its immediate vicinity: the winds are very frequent there making it a good sport for kite surfing, but bad location for swimming.

Hola!! i love Cuba.

This trip was our 6th trip to Cuba but our first at the Pullman. We have all good things to say about it but mostly the staff that go out of their way to help you. The food was good and consistent and the ala cartes were a real treat. The resort is fairly new and in good shape and is kept so clean and tidy. There is plenty of seating everywhere we went from the beach, the lobby bar, the theatre and the pool areas. It was by far the best entertainment we have ever seen in Cuba and loved the music in the lobby bar as well. It is important to understand the economic situation in Cuba before going and to realize that not everything is available every day. They try very hard to provide the guests with everything expected but it not always available. White wine was not available and there was no tequila. But the morning mimosas were amazing!! Thanks to Johnny. The best thing about this resort is the beach and the people. You will have an amazing relaxing time. Our only complaint was the 24 hour snack bar. the food here was terrible and the staff were rude! But the beach bar lunch food was amazing!! You had to line up early as they ran out every day. So pack your bag.. you won't regret it. And make sure you say Hola to everyone you see! PS.. The tipping is getting more confusing by the year. We tipped in Canadian and no one seemed to have a problem with it. When the staff got too many coins, they just came up to you and asked to switch it over to a twenty dollar bill. Only other remark was the beach had a lot of jelly fish. We have never seen this before so I am not sure why.

Thank you very much for your kind message on tripadvisor. We will take care of working on the subject of the snack bar that you mention. Regarding jellyfish, unfortunately throughout the Caribbean it turned out to be a recurring theme, at this time of the year, they are carried by the north winds. We really hope they don't greatly affect your vacation. once, thank you very much and on behalf of all of us here at Pullman Cayo Coco, it was a pleasure having you with us and we look forward to your next visit.
