I think kettles should still be in rooms. Coffee machine empty and open to many hands touching. Would be better kettle in room which could be cleaned between occupants

No soap, no towels, no lighting in the hallway, no bath mats, no air conditioning, no breakfast and no staff that cared! The best part of my stay was when I got upgraded to the George hotel!

I really, enjoyed my stay, The night staff was very helpful, he went the extra mile. Also the house keeper was a friendly and very efficient, while she was cleaning my room one day, she noticed that my hand wash was nearly finished so she rushed to get my an exclusive hand and body wash. She made me feel special. So I would like to say a big thank you! Overall I had a good stay.

No bar or dining room facilities open despite restrictions now being lifted. No tea, coffee making facility & not even disposable cups provided to obtain a glass of water from the bathroom tap. In the early hours of the morning an incident occurred in the room next to us resulting in the police being called to remove the gentleman concerned who I believe was also responsible for setting off the fire alarm by smoking in his room which meant we had to vacate the hotel, despite already being in bed. There was no apology for this disruption when checking out the next morning. We may have been reassured by an explanation from the staff as to what was happening & how the situation had been resolved. Instead we were left wondering if we were still safe as a lot of shouting was in a foreign language & we had no idea what was going on. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and we were pleased to leave the hotel the next morning. We have used Ibis hotels in France before & found them to be quite satisfactory for a budget hotel chain. However, we will not be using any in the UK again, this was our first & last stay with your hotel chain.
