We had booked a Lodge room particularly for the spaciousness it showed online and the description of stunning garden or bush views. We arrived to be given a superior room with no space and view of the car park. We had to immediately pull down the blinds when we arrived as there were cars constantly in and out. When going into the restaurant for dinner I called at reception to ask for some soy milk for the room. The person on reception was bewildered by my request stating she had no idea how she could get me soy milk. I then enquired about being put in a different room to what we had booked and one that seemed to be a down graded room. I was told we had been upgraded. I found this very peculiar considering the Lodge room looked heaps nicer. I expressed I was disappointed as I had loved the look of the lodge room, hence why I had booked it. The receptionist stated, “ All I can do is ensure next time you visit you are not upgraded so you get that room”. I found this very rude and thought to myself I would not be coming back at all. We then went into dinner where we had to ask if we could order drinks, then had to ask for water. The water was brought to us from a partly used jug that had been taken from another patrons table when they left. Our entree and main came to the table together and when we looked stunned at this the waitress asked did you not want them served at the same time. We explained one was entree and the other the main so normally the entree comes first. The waitress then suggested she could have our main kept hot while we had the entree. I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel but the whole experience was very disappointing.

We have always enjoyed our stay at this location. The staff are always friendly, especially Rachel who is a new starter with her smile and "can do" attitude. The service staff was also friendly and helpful. An enjoyable stay overall.

The location was good. The apartment spacious. But the deadlocked second bedroom is a danger for young kids. It was locked when we arrived - took 40mins for someone to come open it for us. And then my young child accidentally let the dead-lock out, so when it closed it was locked shut. Thankfully my child was outside of the room. But still with no key provided we had to wait again for someone to come fix it. I believe it is dangerous to have this style of door that can be accidentally locked by a small child, and a small child could get locked in it.
Dear Stella, We very much appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. Your comment regarding the second bedroom in the apartment is a valid one and we are at present having the locks changed to prevent them being able to be locked from the inside. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back again in the future. Sincerely, Simon Monk General Manager

Nice hotel, the room are spread over a large area so they are almost like separate units. Very peaceful, beautiful grounds. Delicious breakfast. Only downside was they were very strict on check out times, and it was impossible to get a late checkout, even for a platinum member.
