I have wanted to stay at the Sebel for years so I was so happy when that finally happened. I was very disappointed with our stay. I had booked in for a massage at SOL and I’ve never hated a massage so much in my life. I love deep tissue but also love relaxation. I’m not sure what technique she was using but it was brutal and rough and was not pleasant at all. Our bed was so hard! We barely slept the first night because of this. Our remaining nights we ended up sleeping on top of the doona as the doona provided the smallest amount of comfort. Then had to sleep with the decorative pillows because they were softer and better than the actual bed pillows. We ate dinner one night and it wasn’t super busy in the resturant. We finished our meals and had stacked our plates in the middle of our table that clearly indicated we were done. After 40 minutes with waiting staff walking pass our table more than a dozen times I ended up having to get up and ask for them to be removed and get our desert we had already pre-ordered to come out and request for more drinks. We did eat lunch there and buffet breakfast during our stay and that was great service. You’ve got a tall guy working both times who was amazing and honestly seemed incredible at his job. The food was delicious despite the lack of service at dinner. All staff during our stay were incredible kind, professional and friendly. Could not be more pleased with the service they provided. I would like to mention that the Sebel is such a beautiful place. I’ve been plenty of times and eaten there and have loved it and will continue to come back for the food and views. However the stay and massage was the biggest disappointment. I don’t believe the room and our experience was worth the $400+ a night. I will continue to praise the food and restaurant however I won’t be reccomending to stay or using the wellness centre.

We have been coming yearly to the Sebel at Yarrawonga since it opened. It is one of our favourite Accor properties. We like the fact that it is a resort with exceptional accomodation and restaurant with water all around. The walks around the property and beyond offer chances to interact with nature,and the birdlife is amazing. I was able to capture some amazing images of the birds and sunset and sunrises. Looking forward to next year's visit.
