Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort 4 stars

My stay at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort was beyond magical. We went as a group to celebrate my wife's 30th and to celebrate life. From the warm welcome by Asanka and his team, the attention to detail and ensuring that everyone was comfortable and we'll catered for was truly humbling. I wouldn't mind traveling 5500 km again to be at the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort. The food was amazing, my nights being Asian night and the barbaque night.

This hotel was above and beyond. Great service from the moment we got off the plane until we left. Food was delicious, drinks were great, and room service was impeccable. The bed was so comfortable, the AC worked well, the front desk/dive/spa/restaurant employees were all polite and helpful. We look forward to returning!!

The customer service received the moment we arrived was top notch. The rooms were clean and pristine and absolutely beautiful. The food and drinks were really good.

From the moment I arrived I felt relaxed I'm a workaholic I was worried about leaving work for a week. But wow the resort staff just got me into my vacation mood. The welcome at the airport help with check in for the domestic transfers was awesome. Then arriving to the resort which by far exceed all the online pictures was amazing! The cleaning of the facility is top notch. I have traveled to a number of places France,Bali you name it the hospitality I received was the best I have ever received. The staff treat you like royalty daily. The consistency is excellent. Then the meals wow wow I loved all the meals the variety was awesome nothing lacking I wish I had two tummies at each meal to fill up on all the goodies. The fresh bread , fresh fish lit up all my taste buds. The daily options were limitless from hotdogs ,burgers to lamb curries. There was never a meal that left me dissapointed it was just fantastic daily. I loved the variety of sausages daily at breakfast and variety of salads and meat for dinner. The pasta dishes were perfect. I am getting hungry just thinking about the meals I have nothing negative to say about the resort the bar staff are absolutely amazing , chefs are awesome brought ice cream to our table daily! The housekeeping team efficient never missing a spot and front office team very organized never skipping a beat. This was by far one of the best vacations I have had this resort deserves a platinum 5 star rating I don't see myself booking anywhere else for my next Maldives trip which I plan on booking in December because 5 days was too short I need 14 days next time Thank you for making me feel like royalty during my stay. The hospitality industry could learn a lot from you. Your facility and team are amazing.

Our overall experience was way beyond our expectations and we would have loved to rate a perfect 10. The best part was interacting with the staff at the resort; very personal, polite and always ready to help. We wish we could name all the 100 plus staff who work there, but we will always remember Layaal, Sajuva, Jo Ann, Tej Prakash, Ujwal, Shubhanjar, Lesley and Asanka Niroshan who managed all our requirements seamlessly! The rooms were great and the range of variety in food and beverages more than adequate. Why a rating of 9 and not 10 - we were told that we would be taken to the lounge at Male on our return too, but the hotel representative left us at the crowded waiting hall outside the airport for a five hour wait till our next flight; that did not gel with the overall experience! Thank you for an otherwise great holiday experience!!!

It has been perfect, everything. The staff is fantastic!!! Restaurants are amazing with a big variety of options, from breads to the pastry. The surrounding nature and sea life are impressive. There is a fantastic snorkeling are super close to the shore

My wife and I visited the Mercure resort for 7 days from Aug 1 - Aug 8. Everything here met and exceeded our expectations. The over water villa with plunge pool was amazing! We saw so much wildlife in the lagoon right off our balcony. The snorkeling is the best we ever experienced! The service was top notch. I had accidentally left my cell phone on the flight to Kooddoo from Malé and the staff tracked it down and returned it to me by that same evening. Massages at the spa were fantastic as well. We highly recommend this resort!

The Resort is a reality of "Paradise on Earth" location. Was worth the 450Kms additional trip by Air. The Staff is the main back bone of the Resort, However, a few excelled in their duties. Dinesh at the Poolside Bar raised our Spirits a few notches Higher. Jayasinghe raised our weight by a couple of Kgs by meeting ALL our food requests to perfection. Kim ensured that all our needs were accepted without a wimp. Niroshan was at our beck & call. To All the above most important is being an Accor Plus member of this wonderful Group. We would like the Resort to give or sell Souvenirs of the Resort for future memories.

It was a hen trip for my best friend. It's one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The island, the hotel, the service, the staff and the food. Everything was perfect. I definitely recommend the hotel and the beach villas :)
