From the moment I exited the arrivals gate the whole process of quarantine was organised. Arrival at the hotel, check into room, meals, Covid tests, outside deliveries and check out were all very well organised and professionally handled.

From booking, I always got a prompt reply on all my queries and before I arrived the hotel accpeted some deliveries on my behalf. Despite my stay as an ASQ, I can imagine the servive would be the same, meals came in time as requested and reminders from the nurse where prompt and polite. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and the food was good. All in all, I will hopefully return for another visit and keep up the good work alays.

Management was friendly and kind. The food was better than I expected. My only problem was that the windows in my room didn't open and we couldn't go outside to get fresh air. Overall, I was content.

Terrible government-enforced experience made worse by Ibis booking team

Government enforced ASQ stay due to Covid-19. Almost everything went wrong right off the start. After booking another Ibis hotel and another room type, Ibis moved us to their hotel in Khaosan but said that they refused to refund the money we had paid for the bigger room(!). Because it had taken more than a week we were forced to accept the room move as we would otherwise runa very high risk at not having any ASQ stay at all. We did of course not accept the hotel's attempt at illegally keeping the money we overpaid and now that we have left quarantine we are still emailing Ibis and Agoda, the booking agent. After moving hotels, Ibis tried to claim that there was no need to amend the certificate of entry, which requires a precise address of your quarantine location. An enquiry to the embassy revealed that this was incorrect, requiring yet more paperwork. The room was small, dark, no balcony, and no window to open. The air conditioning had two settings; freezing cold or too hot. The larger room had been booked because two people were to work full-time from quarantine - as you do when the government forces you. The smallest room type was then equipped with a wobbly cafe table. The food was bland, boring, and largely inedible served at set times. A bureaucrat's delight. Covid testing at this hotel is with an audience. It appears "privacy" doesn't exist. Apparently the audience, or at least the possibility for an audience, was government mandated. The quarantine stay is 14 days if your plane lands before 18.00. The hotel knows when the plane lands, as you have to tell them. However, they do not tell you that you're not supposed to leave a day early. Staff was nice and generally helpful.

Dear Kristian Thank you for your feedback and information you have given us, I’m sorry to see that you didn’t have a great experience. The first part I have given the information you have given me back to the team at Ibis Styles 50, as we work separately I can’t comment on the booking process or the refund. With the feedback you have provided for you stay with us here at Ibis Styles Khaosan, its disappointing to see you didn’t enjoy the food and it was inedible, we do constant checks on food quality and we also have regular calls to get feedback, I’ve reviewed the call logs and nothing has been mentioned, can you let me know if you raised this up as a concern just so I can follow this up for you. The mandated times do have to be as such, as the guest traffic moves round the hotel for new arrivals, departures, and swab tests etc, we have these allocated times to serve the whole hotel their food in a safe and secure manner and also ensure the safety of our teams, as you can imagine running such an operation does have its logistical challenges. The swab test area, originally we did have screens for privacy but these were removed by the health department and unfortunately we don’t have any alternative options allowed here, and have to follow their set guidelines for us to be able to operate the ASQ facility, we work with them as much as we can to ensure guest comfort. I do hope this gives you some insight into why some of the things are the way they are, if I could get your feedback on the food and I will personally chase that up, and again my apologies this hasn’t been a great experience. We also do regular calls to our guests to see if they need anything or would like anything, did this not happen for you, as I notice that you mention nobody called you during your stay to ask if you need anything? I spent 14 days in COVID quarantine at this hotel. The suite was very nice. Considering the overall cost, the food was good. The hotel staff was responsive and helpful. Under normal circumstances, the hotel location is excellent.

The staff here was wonderful; our ASQ stay was excellent. From our pickup at the airport to our check out, everyone was kind and helpful, and did everything possible to make our stay a pleasant one. The rooms were spacious and clean. Anything we needed was providing quickly and safely. All the necessary Covid testing and temperatures were done safely, promptly and with attention to detail. The staff here are fabulous!

Hello. Wish to congratulate the team at Khaosarn road IBIS on the job well done. I have an amazing stay over this past fourteen days of self isolate. Upon the smooth transition of airport pick up to the very polite taxi driver. Very fast and efficient checked in the process. The room had been pre air-conditioning. Generous room size considering the price I had paid for and bedding very comfy taking the edges off jet lagged. I haven't tried varieties of foods on the menu, but my room service had been spot on. I also wish to convey mine appreciation toward the teams of attentive and light handed nurse stations in this hotel too. I had heard many horrid stories but they had put my fears at ease with theirs gentle way. A few improvement points, if I may. The loo light went out in the third days. Leaking water from the loo water spray constantly after using. Kettle was leaking as well. The spare bed sheet should provide as it long stay without turn-down services. Electronic payment mini bar full stocking with snacks or protein bars would be a great implement as this would be the new normal in the course of time. Airport did not have ATM and exchange boots were not operated and it was hard for us not residing in the country to have known what to prepared since Thai Embassy haven't posted any useful information. So it would be a great input on your website what one should be prepared. I also would like to suggest payment and booking on Ibis website and information regarding ASQ, I had to called long distance, printed and signed form and it hadn't been a very comfy processes for me as I was en route on business meeting. Thanks again for the pleasant stay. Will be back again on the next visit. Warmest regards, Nox.

Great place! It is the second time we stay at this hotel. This time we chose a big family room, and we all loved it. It is very spacious and has big windows facing the pool. The breakfast was good. The location is great if you want restaurants and shops just around the corner.

This hotel is in a great location. The staff are super helpful and friendly. I dealt with Ammy for all my needs and she did her best to make sure they were fulfilled. She was outstanding. The breakfast that was part of the package was delicious and plentiful. The rooms are good, but if you are staying 3 per room be prepared for a bunk bed and a single. I was not and I was unhappy with this situation as at my stage in life I am not climbing up on a bunk bed. We upgraded to the family room which had 3 single beds and was perfect.

A very noisy hotel

The hotel is nice, rooms are nice, well located but in a noisy area. Music from outside is strong. Rooms are not sound-insulated.againts sound from ouside and from corridors. The breakfirst is good with fresh fuits.
