From the moment I exited the arrivals gate the whole process of quarantine was organised. Arrival at the hotel, check into room, meals, Covid tests, outside deliveries and check out were all very well organised and professionally handled.

From booking, I always got a prompt reply on all my queries and before I arrived the hotel accpeted some deliveries on my behalf. Despite my stay as an ASQ, I can imagine the servive would be the same, meals came in time as requested and reminders from the nurse where prompt and polite. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and the food was good. All in all, I will hopefully return for another visit and keep up the good work alays.

Management was friendly and kind. The food was better than I expected. My only problem was that the windows in my room didn't open and we couldn't go outside to get fresh air. Overall, I was content.
Terrible government-enforced experience made worse by Ibis booking team

Government enforced ASQ stay due to Covid-19. Almost everything went wrong right off the start. After booking another Ibis hotel and another room type, Ibis moved us to their hotel in Khaosan but said that they refused to refund the money we had paid for the bigger room(!). Because it had taken more than a week we were forced to accept the room move as we would otherwise runa very high risk at not having any ASQ stay at all. We did of course not accept the hotel's attempt at illegally keeping the money we overpaid and now that we have left quarantine we are still emailing Ibis and Agoda, the booking agent. After moving hotels, Ibis tried to claim that there was no need to amend the certificate of entry, which requires a precise address of your quarantine location. An enquiry to the embassy revealed that this was incorrect, requiring yet more paperwork. The room was small, dark, no balcony, and no window to open. The air conditioning had two settings; freezing cold or too hot. The larger room had been booked because two people were to work full-time from quarantine - as you do when the government forces you. The smallest room type was then equipped with a wobbly cafe table. The food was bland, boring, and largely inedible served at set times. A bureaucrat's delight. Covid testing at this hotel is with an audience. It appears "privacy" doesn't exist. Apparently the audience, or at least the possibility for an audience, was government mandated. The quarantine stay is 14 days if your plane lands before 18.00. The hotel knows when the plane lands, as you have to tell them. However, they do not tell you that you're not supposed to leave a day early. Staff was nice and generally helpful.
