Staff are friendly and helpful. The premises are green and spacious, which was excellent for social distancing. The location was perfect for business. It was safe to jog in the morning on the road along the river. The river view from the window was breathtaking with the view of Brazzaville town - the closest two capitals in the world. Sushi on the 9th floor restaurant is probably the best in Africa. I am Japanese and I know what the good sushi is ; )

The staff is absolutely amazing! The customer experience manager Laetitia is wonderful as well as her entire staff. Arthuro at the front desk is incredibly helpful as well. Their breakfast never disappoints and I miss it every day that I am not there. Prisca behind the omelets/hot bar is absolutely wonderful. The other ladies, especially Arlette, also made sure to help me quickly on days I was running late to grab a coffee to go and a croissant or two. When I checked in Proserphine and her counterparts always remembered me and made me feel SO welcome. I refuse to stay anywhere else when I am in town!

Nice location, with quite and safe area. Hotel with big and nice pool. Breakfast and foods are good and fresh. Room is big but was not clean properly before. I complains to housekeeping. Materas was not so confortable. Good to stay there is you are visiting kin for business.

Good stay, nice place and nice hotel with big pool and garden. Suite room with confortable materass and good furnitures but was reception gave me an old one with city view and not modern suite with river view. Good breakfast and foods.

Some very good staff all round. Found the reception staff very distant and almost unfriendly at times and handling queries aggressively. All round atmosphere is good. Has areas which can be used for discreet discussions if necessary. Well equipped gym. Thought the drinks to be very expensive.

I stayed for two night in the old wing which has seen its better days, but as everything it depends what you compare with. It was clean, shower worked and the view was good. Maybe this is what you can expect in a town like Kinshasa. Breakfast is served in the never part and that was very good as well as the pool area next to the restaurant. Though, a piece of advise, bring cash, the ATMs does not sometimes give you cash but there maybe a debit on your account, be careful.

Rooms could be cleaner

The rooms could be cleaner, on a Sunday rooms were cleaned only around 1600. The lifts are scary, out of 3 lifts only 2 were functional, the noise level was abnormal and the lift does not work on occasions.

The staff are really trying to make the experience great. As I have been staying in Pullman Kinshasa regularly for a few years now, I can see the overall improvement with regards to the service levels. In particular, Deborah and Dorcas always go the extra mile to put a smile on my face.

Confustion at the Pullman Kinshasa

There are 2 hotels in the Pullman group in Kinshasa -- the new "Pullman" with a boutique-y feel and the old Grand Hotel de Kinshasa. Both properties share the same restaurants, gym, pool, etc. But they are quite different. The Grand Hotel has seen better days, a long time ago. I specifically booked one of the renovated rooms, which, on Accor's own website looks like the new Pullman ones, but is far inferior, especially, the bathroom that is simply not up international standards. Accor certainly plays up the lack of any competition in Kinshasa. Not sure I would stay there again. The AirCon was deafening, the thermostat did not work, so it was either on full blast, or I turned it off for a quiet sleep, only to wake up later in the night too hot. Bed is advertised as a queen, but is not.

The internet was inadequate. I tried to take business clients for a coffee to the club floor lounge, which I paid extra for, and was told that three people were not allowed?? The only reason Icome to Kinshasa is business so why pay extra for the club floor.

Not thrilled by this stay. Used to enjoy a better service at this property. Phone calls not answered, I had to go down to the reception to request a service two times in three days. , Internet access was quite unstable and the room not really fit for business traveller.

Helpful Staff, very good food, very good music in the evenings. Clean and comfortable room.

The hotel is very well located and secured. Book the Deluxe room with view on river and swimming-pool. I enjoyed the very large variety of natural juices along with a rich breakast buffet. Staff is helpful.

One of the better hotels in KInshasa

The hotel is very located in a quiet neighbourhood, yet some 10-15 minutes drive (more if traffic) to the city centre. Facilities are fine, elevator does not seem to have been renovated. The overall impression is that there is still work in progress. Compared to the nearby Kempinski, which plays in a similar price category, the Pullman trails behind. I do appreciate the wide choice of restaurants and the terrace lounge. Check-in (although checked in via the web before) was slow (10-15 minutes). The bathroom wasn't really clean: spots on the floor next to the toilet. Either they are permanent and it spoils the impression or it wasn't, then it wasn't properly cleaned.

Really, really bad - take any hotel not this one

In brief, it started with some really arrogant, unfriendly and incompetent frontdesk staff. It took them 20 minutes till we had the key card to our room. The room was filthy with mold in the bath room and the other parts of the room were not better. It feels like as if nothing had been done in this hotel since the Mobutu era. And it was not cheap either, 200 USD per night. Really, don't go there, it's just bad.
